Design and develop fully functioning autonomous mobile robot solution for various domains such as airport logistics, warehouse logistics and production automation.

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Develop fully functioning system for autonomous mobile robot.

· Engage in mapping, localization, path panning, navigation, obstacle detection and avoidance and docking.

· Design, develop and test various software modules for autonomous mobile robot.

· Develop low level robot program codes (e.g. Motor driver) for custom parts/components, ensuring compatibility and improving stability of existing devices.

· Implement algorithms and creating wrapper software for ROS.

· Develop interfaces for autonomous mobile robot to other external system (e.g. PLC, Web Application).

· Test and fine tune system with actual hardware to ensure reliable operation.

· Perform onsite testing and commissioning for autonomous mobile robot projects.

Requirements:

· Degree/Diploma in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related discipline.

· Proficient in programming with C/C++ and Python.

· Knowledge in database design and database management software.

· Familiar with Ubuntu/Linux Operating System.

· Knowledge in Robot Operating System (ROS).

· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Experience in ROS development is a plus.

· 1-2 years software development experience is a plus.

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our team, specializing in Quality Control and Assembly within the VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breaker) and SWG (Switchgear) division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming goods, conducting tests on VCB units and 20GC GIS (Gas-Insulated Switchgear) Panels, performing assembly tasks, and maintaining calibration control for tools and machines in compliance with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming Quality Control (QC) procedures for VCB department and SWG division, including thorough inspection and documentation of incoming goods.
• Implement reject control processes for non-conforming products, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of VCB units and 20GC GIS Panels to ensure compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.
• Perform outgoing QC procedures for VCB units and 20GC GIS Panels, ensuring that all products meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Maintain calibration control for tools and machinery used in production processes, ensuring accuracy and reliability in accordance with ISO standards.
• Undertake assembly work for VCB units and 20GC GIS Panels, following assembly instructions and blueprints with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve quality processes.
• Provide technical support and expertise to colleagues and other departments as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate in Nitech/ Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree holder in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Previous experience in Quality Control and Assembly, preferably in the electrical engineering or manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of QC processes, testing methodologies, and ISO standards.
• Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools for QC and calibration purposes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with electrical testing and inspection procedures.

Job Responsibility:

· Prepare schematic design, site installation layout, calculations, technical reports and specifications etc for automation equipment panel.

· Liaise with external consultant teams, contractors and suppliers to resolve project electrical design issues.

· Generate BOM and RFQ document.

· Communicate with contractor for automation equipment panel fabrication.

· Prepare factory acceptance test document for automation equipment panel.

· Responsible for liaising with Project Manager on automation equipment panel acceptance before ship to site.

· Provide support on site installation.

· Updating of Circuit diagram, Control device and Equipment Installation layout.

Job Requirements:

· Degree/Diploma​/Higher Nitec​ in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

· Knowledge in automation design of the control system (Hardware & Software). Experience in motor control, hardware and software designs with controls using PLCs an advantage

· Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and oral to liaise with associates

· Good analytical reasoning, theoretical approach and communication skills

· Excellent interpersonal and Communication skills

· Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision

· Hands on experience on wiring assembly and installation will be an advantage.

· Proficient in MS office and other relevant software like AutoCAD or EPLAN 8 Electric.
