Job Summary:

Responsible for working alongside Engineers and managers and accepting delegated responsibilities and duties with the goal of eventually becoming a project manager

Job Description:

Work in different departments to gain perspective, including Construction projects, Maintenance projects, Business development, Planning and Estimation, QA/QC, HSE, purchasing and costing

Assist the Project Engineer in the following areas.

· Prepare,schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering construction and maintenance projects

· Prepare the technical and commercial proposals for tenders and participate in the negotiations with the clients

· Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

· Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

Monitor compliance with HSE policies and practices and participate in HSE initiatives

· Perform overall control of the assigned work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and regularly report on project status

· Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

Requirements:

· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Preferably Fresh Grad

· Interest in working in the Construction industry as a site engineer,including live plant environment

· Ability to work with multiple discipline projects

· Project management and supervision skills

· Decision-making ability and leadership skills

· Time management and organizational skill

Job Scope

• In accordance with guidelines and approved methods, evaluate, test, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment.
• Provide installation, commissioning, and after sales maintenance service to customers for general scientific laboratory equipment.
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and confidentiality of test results.
• Coordinate closely with sales team to provide technical support and after sales service to customers.
• Conduct risk assessments to comply with safety work procedures.

Job Requirements

• Nitec/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering
• Min. 1 year of hands-on experience in service engineer
• Preferred to have Class 3 Driving License
• Knowledge in ISO documentation (ISO/IEC 17025)
