Job Description:
Our client, a leading manufacture in Scanning devices, has started looking a Technical Support Engineer for ASEAN and South Asia Region.
1. Post-sales support : Providing Technical support to partners or customers after purchasing their products.
- Assist technical team of partners and customers to tackle and resolve technical issues
- Able to dissemble and assemble scanner according to maintenance manual(Training will be provided)
- Train and enable service partners to provide post-sales support to end-user
- Manage and process of warranty claims, demo/standby unit loan, spare part cannibalization, with system and paperwork
- Installation and configuration of hardware and software products
2. Pre-sales Support: Support Activities as Technical Expertise
- Assist sales team, partners or customers to win and deliver deals
- Demonstration of hardware and software product
- Assist in integration of own products with third party solution
- Provide training and enable partners on pre-sales technical capabilities
3. Oversea travel will be required
- Average 1 trip per quarter. Mainly to ASEAN, South Asia Countries, or Japan
Job Requirements:
- Prefer candidates from similar industry and with similar experience
- At least 3 years of the same/similar experience is required
- Experience of Electronic industry is also welcome to apply
- Slight experience in programming will be great advantage
- Initiative, independent, and harmonious person
