• Conduct inspection on Soil investigation and instrumentation works
• Carry- out supervision and coordination on-site to meet the project schedule
• Conduct inspection in Installation of ERSS works, D-wall, Site Investigation, Shotcrete, Rockbolt, controlled blasting , Soil Instrumentation works.
• Carry out full-time standing supervision of Ground Investigation Works
• Maintain appropriate documentation of site work progress, instrumentation readings, and fieldwork records/logs on a daily basis
• Constantly assess the impact of the ground investigation works on site and liaise with the Contractor to mitigate any risks to dam safety when deemed necessary
• Coordinate with local authorities as and when necessary
• Shift work - Day and/or Night
• Location - Various jobsites

Key Responsibilities:

- To advise construction site personnel (clients) on the safe and efficient use of SGB products.

- To check that the equipment had been erected in accordance with the relevant SGB drawings/design.

- To work with our Design Engineers to solve design changes due to construction site/structural changes.

- To contribute towards an efficient and safe Operations Department.

- To ensure site diaries and inspection forms are completed regularly and accurately.

Qualification & Experience Required :

- Secondary School level /Diploma Engineering.

- At least 5-8 years experience in similar job nature.

- Ability to read drawing.

- Problem solving.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide software delivery teams to implement solutions.
• Analyze project requirements, Design and develop software systems and applications to meet customer's needs.
• Work with Project Manager and stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project scope within timelines
• Serve as a technical advisor to the development team, offering troubleshooting support and driving issue resolution.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentations and design plans
• Provide System Enhancement Recommendations such as modifications or upgrades to existing software systems and applications to enhance performance.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices (e.g. SGTS, GCC, IM8, etc.)

Requirements

• Experience in infrastructure architecture (on-prem/cloud), database architecture and networking
• 5-8 years of experience in software, systems design and implementation.
• Experience in pre-sales consulting would be added advantage
• Experience as a Solution Architect would be a plus
• Proficiency in software development languages such as Java, Python, C++, or others

Role:

• Assist the Senior Technical Manager in overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of tankers.
• Manage daily maintenance and repair activities, budget survey schedules, and docking operations.
• Maintain updated records of class status and coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors for daily operations.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under ISM, ISPS, and MLC.
• Monitor, coordinate, and attend vessel inspections by oil majors, statutory surveys, and follow up on related matters.
• Conduct and report on incident/accident investigations.

Requirements:

• Sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer on Chemical and Oil Tankers and atleast 2 years of shore experience as technical superintendent or fleet manager.
• MOT Engineer Certification (Class 1).
• Strong organizational skills with a hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to travel on short notice as needed.
