Job Purpose

Technical Officer (TO) works in a team to perform preventive and corrective maintenance of railway signaling and communications systems to improve its reliability. Summary:

The Technical Superintendent is responsible for technical operations of the assigned oil tankers.

Reports to: Vessel Manager / Technical Manager

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring vessels meet technical standards and performance requirements

• Maintaining up-to-date certificates and documents

• Implementing planned maintenance systems

• Managing surveys, dry-dockings, and repairs

• Reviewing and promoting crew performance

• Managing technical budgets

Requirements:

• Tanker seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (at least COC Class

2 or 3), or at least 2 years of experience as technical superintendent for oil tankers and

bunker tankers.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field with relevant design working experience

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement successful design strategies and implement them for the project

Resident Technical Officer (M&E)

Responsibilities:

-Inspection and supervision of M&E works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations.

-As-built drawings checks.

-Monitor progress of the works on site and at any off-site manufacturing facilities and report delays immediately.
