Senior Commissioning Engineer

The T&C Engineer/Commissioning Engineer is responsible for managing all testing and documentation for the project, ensuring quality delivery, and coordinating handover to the client and internal service department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:Manage all testing processes and documentation for the project.
  Ensure quality delivery from project installations and coordinate handovers.
  
• Design Review:Review project designs to ensure operational feasibility.
  Verify and evaluate the quality and performance of equipment/systems according to specifications before delivery to the client.
  
• Early Project Involvement:Engage in the early stages of projects to understand construction and Testing & Commissioning (T&C) requirements.
  
• Compliance:Ensure compliance with standards and engineering practices throughout the project.
  Understand built plans (M&E), technical literature, and equipment manuals.
  
• Troubleshooting:Conduct equipment troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and propose solutions.
  
• Reporting:Report work issues and non-compliances to the Project Management Office (PMO).
  
• Testing Activities:Conduct Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), Integrated System Tests (IST), Testing and Commissioning (T&C), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  Support the project team with any technical issues related to testing procedures.
  
• Coordination:Work closely with the engineering team to understand design specifications.
  Prepare T&C test sheets and documentation prior to inspections.
  Schedule and coordinate all T&C activities, including attending equipment SAT testing and submitting site inspection reports.
  Liaise with project T&C consultants on all matters and ensure reports are compiled and submitted after each inspection.
  
• Documentation:Compile, review, and submit all T&C Method of Statements (MOS) for consultant review and approval.
  
• Additional Duties:Perform any other duties assigned by the PMO.

• This role is primarily electrical-based.

Duties of E&I Engineer:

• Review project specs to ensure equipment meets contract requirements

Overview

A technically focused role with responsibility for planning, managing, and installing of the technical (AV, SX, LX, and power supply) infrastructure for Live Events in Singapore & the South East Asia Region. Ideally the candidate would have 20+ years proven experience in all technical departments including Audio Systems, Rigging, Lighting, Video Projection, LED Screens, Media Servers, Camera Systems, Electrical & Power Management.

The candidate should have a proven track record of delivering high quality technical solutions for live events across all major markets and have experience in delivering projects in South East Asia and China. The candidate should have a high level of understanding of the following software applications: AutoCAD, Vector Works, Unreal Engine 5.0, Depence R3, Capture, WYSIWYG, PowerPoint, Excel, Rental Point, Easy job. The candidate should have previous experience for programming on the following media server platforms: Watchout, Disguise, Pixera, Millumin. The candidate will have to solve problems in the workplace and on site, detect risks all throughout the projects and therefore must have excellent management & communication skills. He will need to work with budgets and deliver projects to an agreed level of profitability. Responsibilities:

• Co-ordinate and arrange site visits with clients & all necessary suppliers to ensure a high level of planning for all projects

Criteria:

- Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

• Maintain vessels to the requirement of Classification Society, Flag state, Port State, Oil majors and state regulations that the vessels are plying.
• Execute planned maintenance system and ensure compliance.

Requirements

• COC Class 1 holders with sailing experience on tanker vessels / foreign going vessels
• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience ashore as a Technical Superintendent in tanker companies
• Must be willing to travel abroad ( Fujairah ) on a rotational basis
• Possess good spoken and written communication skills in English language
• Familiar with Oil Majors vettings and inspections requirements
• Analytical, able to work independently, results oriented, resourceful and pro-active
