Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Technical Specialist located in Ang Mo Kio. Our client makes sophisticated nurse call systems, enterprise reporting and analytics tools, and industry-leading software applications for caregivers and clinical staff and you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance according to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. It also requires coordinating site work with sub-contractors and customers, as well as providing on-site support for systems testing, commissioning, and client training, both locally and overseas. Additionally, the position entails responding to emergency service calls during and after office hours, including public holidays, as part of a weekly standby rotation.

Qualifications:

• Fresh / Entry-level / Relevant Experience for NTC2 / ITE / Diploma in Electronics or IT Engineering background. Certificate for Electronics / IT Engineering will be required upon interview.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for seeking technical assistance, over the phone, remote connection software, chat, and email
• Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
• Determine the best solution based on the issue and details
• Walk through the problem-solving process
• Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
• Provide accurate information on IT products or services
• Record events and problems and their resolution in internal ticketing systems.

Requirement:

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• Technical support professional with 3 years’ experience in the IT technical support / Desktop Support focused on end-user support
• Good experience in support and troubleshooting Windows and Mac OS including mobile devices (iOS and Android mobile operating systems)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex end-user technical issues
• Experience with setup and configuration of end-user desktop and laptop computer hardware, software, phones and peripherals.Technical Support / Desktop Support Engineer.
