Role Overview

This position is responsible to ensure that products meet quality goals and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to FDA Regulations, ISO 13485, EU MDR requirements, and Risk Management per ISO 14971 and maintain compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D teams in the USA, Japan, and Singapore to ensure that design control is completed in accordance with procedures, WI, regulatory requirements, and assure that required outputs have been completed
• Execute risk management for devices, processes, and provide the assessment results from product development through to the launch
• Maintain and update risk management files with Global R&D/Manufacturing Engineering (ME) teams to support product development (Risk Management Plans, Risk Control Log, Benefit Risk Assessment Risk Management Report, xFMEA, etc.), and act as the Risk Management expert
• Assist in the review and approval of design development plans, verification and validation protocols, reports, master V&V plans and reports, and design transfer
• Review and approve design verification test protocols, reports and data from a logical point of view (Compliance, rationale, objectiveness and statistics)
• Partner within Quality and R&D to ensure design control documentation (Risk Management, Traceability/Linkages) & design change control requirements are met
• Review and approve biocompatibility protocols and reports
• Ensure compliance of IQ, OQ, tests method validation, Standard Operating procedures and work instructions regarding product development
• Maintain compliance to QMS procedures of the R&D Singapore site, and support the Singapore R&D Site - QA
• Support External audits by competent authorities and notified bodies
• Support internal audits at the local site, and other sites as required
• Review and approve other quality documents (e.g., IQ, OQ, PQ, WI, etc) within areas of responsibility
• Propose and execute quality/process improvements. Write/review policies/ processes/ procedures and related documents
• Manage and monitor the progress of the calibration and maintenance of testing equipment. Ensure calibration or maintenance records satisfy regulatory and QMS requirements (act as Equipment Control Administrator in Singapore)
• Participate in development projects and change control request meetings to support the resolution of engineering issues
• Collaborate with the post-market surveillance team and complaints investigation teams to maintain risk management process throughout a product’s lifecycle
• Provide support for other quality activities and improvement initiatives, quality data collection and trending, CAPAs, change controls, training, etc.
• Support initiatives as identified by management to support QMS and other regulatory requirements in Singapore

Requirements

Experience

• At least 4+ years of Industry experience working as QE Engineer in Medical Device/ Pharmaceutical product or optical engineering business field
• Experience in test method validation
• Experience in Design control, Design Transfer, Design and Development Process
• Demonstrated knowledge of Risk Management (ISO14971), Design control, Design and Development Process and Quality System (any one of ISO13485).
• Understanding and Knowledge of biocompatibility studies
• Experience in coordination and planning of complex activities and ability to identify and resolve complex problems through effective use of technical and interpersonal skills
• Product development experience (e.g. approaches for definition of requirements and specification setting for verification and validation). Practical experience in design control and risk management
• Effective use of oral and written communication skills to clearly communicate the quality position, and the actions necessary to resolve issues
• Interpersonal, team, leadership, and negotiation skills to handle conflicting priorities
• Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural skills required

Fabrica AI is reinventing how robots are developed. Currently novel robots take 5-20 years. We are building a design automation platform to bring it down to a month, and have already demonstrated significant progress by developing tile grouting robots in record time. Robotics simulation and reinforcement learning has been advancing a lot making it 1000x cheaper to train robots compared to 5 years ago, and as Jensen Huang said at Nvidia GTC 2024, "the ChatGPT moment for robotics may be just around the corner." A couple other companies are building on the same paradigm shift but we are the only ones using it to automate hardware design, not just software.

Building robots and a design automation platform together brings great synergy - the platform helps us develop robots faster than anyone else and the robots allow us to gather data and do experiments at scale. Data gathering can be done through partnerships with other robotics companies, but doing experiments is crucial for grounding the platform in reality and ensuring its usefulness. The grouting robots are already deploying daily at construction sites and bringing value to clients. We are currently negotiating sales worth around 500k USD. With manufacturing cost multiple times lower than companies using a traditional robotic arm, our robots have an ROI in weeks. Our robot is also small and simple to use, operating from a single button without the need to upload floorplans or do any complex setup. Soon we would be expanding into other simple and valuable robots for the construction industry.

Role Description:

• Responsible for semiconductor fab automation with Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) & SECS/GEM
• MES knwolegeable and work with vendors to evaluate and enable communication between MES, Tool and AMR.
• Responsible for proposing/developing/implementing/maintaining IOT automation systems collecting/cleaning/restructuring equipment data and storage in data management system
• Maintenance of AMR and existing system performing periodic data integrity checks, create automated failure alerts, perform timely fixes when necessary and continuously improve the automation frameworks with new innovative features\
• Create Web UI for admin/user required view & operation. Create automated periodic insights/analytics/reports/visualisation/alerts operations required for timely decision-making processes.

• Responsible for developing and optimizing ion-implantation and rapid thermal anneal (RTA) processes to support IME's various program requirements.
• Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions and using test equipment or software to test faulty hardware parts, applying knowledge of the functional operation of the Ion implanter and RTA equipment.
• Collaborates closely with vendors to optimize equipment performance and reduce tool downtime.
• Setup and execute design of experiments (DOEs) at various dose, energy, tilt, and twist levels, and evaluate experimental data to meet required process specifications.
• Responsible for analyzing test data related to implant-related defect formation, and quantifying and minimizing defects.
• Champion process window characterization and evaluation to drive quality and yield improvement.
• Closely collaborate with process integration teams to implement technology roadmaps, define process capability requirements, and address structural implications and constraints related to ion-implantation and RTA processes.
• Work with fab team in establishing statistical process control for ion-implantation and RTA processes.
• Generate and present reports to both internal and external customers.

Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, providing

analytical support, and delivering excellent customer service and support. This role involves

collaborating with the client's team to understand the organization's framework and address

technical challenges on a daily basis.

Provide technical support, troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.

Analyze and debug production issues, identify root causes, and implement solutions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development and infrastructure, to

Monitor, maintain, and support Kafka, Apache Tomcat, and other middleware

components as needed.

Requirements:
