This role is to support expansion of ERM Singapore as the Southeast Asia (SEA) Hub.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting project teams on the delivery of a wide range of corporate sustainability/ESG and M&A in Singapore and Southeast Asia
• Act as a consultant and contribute to projects under direction from Line Manager or Partners, such as conducting Technical and Environmental Due Diligence, Advisory, Reporting, ESG Raters Support (e.g. CDP, DJSI, MSCI, Sustainalytics, GRESB), among others.
• Review, analyse and manage Virtual Data Rooms (VDR) on behalf of the project team.
• Perform tasks within scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensure quality standards on project deliverables.
• Interact and maintain successful relationships with ERM employees and support the project managers and Partners with successful communication with Clients and Subcontractors, where required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Qualification in Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Internship experience in an engineering or environmental consultancy, industry or environment focused non-governmental organizations is a plus.
• Knowledge of ESG reporting, frameworks, and raters is a plus.
• Versatile and fast learner with strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, travel, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work with short deadlines together with the project team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team is essential.
• Strong skills with MS Office applications.
• Must be able to execute quality work, and ensure high standards are being achieved by yourself and the team.
• Excellent report writing skills. Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. Fluency in any written and spoken Asian language is a plus

• Develop the conceptual framework of construction projects and manage scheduling and coordination across multiple trades and sub-contractors.
• Plan, lead, and monitor project progress, including manpower planning, construction progress tracking, master schedule preparation, and cost control.
• Ensure cost management within approved budgets by controlling materials, manpower, and machinery expenses for ongoing and new projects.
• Address delays or emergencies at construction sites by issuing timely instructions and maintaining effective project standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and authorities, to resolve site issues, ensure compliance, and achieve smooth project completion.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Construction industry (Building/Factory/Structure/Finishing).
• Able to work weekends, night shift and PH when needed.

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.

Job scope

Preparation and submission of Mechanical tenders, including reviewing technical specifications, cost estimates and project timelines.

Taking charge on Mechanical QS related matters and responsible from tender to pre-contract and post contract administration duties.

Prepare tender clarifications, liaise with consultant, attend site visit and tender briefings/meetings.

Responsible for interpretation of specifications, compliances, review of tender drawings for any discrepancies and any other relevant document.

Conduct detailed technical evaluations of tender documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Identify potential risks and challenges associated with tender submissions and develop mitigation strategies.

Plan and execute with tender team to achieve KPI.

Suggest Value Engineering solution for MEP works, if required, in the tender.

Assist in the presentation slide, technical write up for tender submission/interview and attendance of tender interview.

Involve in project write up such as understanding scope of work, manpower histogram, programs and project schedule using Microsoft Project software.

Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the decision-making process during tender evaluations.

Evaluating quotations from sub-cons/suppliers according to tender requirement.
