Proposal Engineer
Working day: Monday - Friday (8am - 5.45pm)
Salary: $3,000 - $6,000

Duties & Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects;
Analyze and evaluate project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and associated costs;

Quantity Take-off
Perform quantity take-offs for materials and labour required for MEP installations;
Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive quantity assessments;

Budgeting and Cost-control
Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control throughout the project lifecycle;
Monitor and report on cost variations, providing recommendations for cost-saving measures;

Tendering and Procurement
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in the procurement process;
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids, ensuring competitiveness and adherence to project requirements;

Contract Administration
Administer and manage contracts related to MEP works, including variations and claims;
Monitor contractual compliance and resolve any disputes that may arise during the project;

Value Engineering
Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality;
Work closely with design and construction teams to implement value engineering recommendations;

Risk Management
Identify and assess potential risks related to cost and contract issues;
Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success;

Cost Reporting
Generate regular cost reports to keep stakeholders informed of project financial status;
Provide analysis and recommendations based on cost reporting data;

Collaboration

Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders;
Participate in project meetings and contribute to the overall success of the project;

Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in MEP construction;
Stay updated on industry trends, codes, and best practices;

Ad-Hoc
Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work;
Other Ad-hoc duties as assigned by the HOD.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying / Engineering or equivalent from a recognized University.
• Minimum 5 years of related working experiences in industrial, commercial or data-centre projects.
• Good working knowledge in Mechanical and Electrical.

We are looking for an Executive Engineer to join our team in Singapore office. You will have opportunity to work on interesting projects across wide-ranging sectors and typologies.

Your responsibilities include:

• Conceptualise engineering design and execute the project with the detailed designs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics or any related field in Engineering.
• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering and Product Design, specifically in pressure vessels.
• Proficient in SolidWorks with a strong understanding of AutoCAD 3D or equivalent software, as well as valve differential designs.
• Familiarity with NFPA and relevant international pipeline design Codes and Standards is essential.

• Overall responsible for technical operations of the assigned oil tankers.
• Ensure that the vessels achieve the necessary technical standards and performance.
• Manage the vessels certificates and documents to ensure they are systematically updated and stored.
• Prepare and manage vessels’ technical budget and monitor dry-dockings and other required repairs and maintenance jobs.

Requirements:

• Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (COC Class 1/Class 2)
• At least 2 years of experience as Technical Superintendent for Oil tankers.

Role and Responsibilities

-Responsible for creating, updating, revising, and maintaining accurate BIM Models, 2D and 3D drawings, shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings for various projects, throughout the project life cycle.

- Maintain, revise, and update drawings as required, based on feedback and comments, and make corrections as directed by the supervisor.

- Identify and resolve issues related to drawings and technical/engineering documentation and ensure timely submission and completion of deliverables.

- Follow company filing directories to store the drawings and documentation.

- Independently create accurate, high-quality drawings and review your work before submission.

- Produce BIM and AutoCAD drawings with proper title blocks for submission.

- Participate in BIM coordination meetings to perform clash detection and resolve conflicts effectively.

- Prepare submission drawings complying with various authorities' guidelines, based on the supervisor’s direction.

- Prepare technical/engineering documents such as Method of Procedures, reports, etc. as requested by the supervisor or other internal stakeholders.

- Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders in coordination, organization, and preparation of technical/engineering documents and drawings and respond promptly to ensure timely task completion.

- Follow company policies and ISO procedures to ensure quality services.

Requirements

Technical Knowledge:

- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, design principles, and building service standards, particularly in the industrial, commercial, and critical facilities sectors.

- Knowledge of technical/engineering documents.

- Proficiency in Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Experience:

- Proven experience in the construction industry as a BIM Modeller and AutoCAD Drafter.

- Experience in preparing technical/engineering documentation.

- Minimum 3 years of work experience in M&E field, preferably in the building construction industry,

- Prefer to have some experience in the Data Centre industry.

Qualification:

- Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
