About the team
The Subsea Backbone team is responsible for all aspects of submarine network deployment, operation, upgrades and management within AWS. We define the contractual framework for all required elements adding capacity that supports the AWS Backbone Network for our customers. Position Details:

Reporting to the Director, Global Marine Operations, the Operations Support Analyst is responsible for understanding system-based Operations work processes and owning the resolution of any process gaps. Job Description:

• Support large scale IT infra environment on 24/7 basis; Ready to work in shifts and standby support

• Providing technical application/architecture support to infra and application teams; Assisting with system integrations and infrastructure

• Identifying and resolving technical issues; support day to day operations

• Provide operational support like shakedown, monitoring the availability of the applications, deployment, system health check, etc

• Attend to incidents and problem resolution within stipulated SLA

• Support SRs and changes; Follow the ITSM process

• Administer and maintain the system; Maintain availability and optimal performance of the systems

Job Description

• 1st level helpdesk to respond to calls.
• Provide first call resolution to users who called into our hotline which is public facing, advising on issues.
• Liaise with other support teams, or product teams as required to resolve requests/issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper documentation, notification, escalation, tracking and follow up of all incidents. Primary responsibilities are focused on customer contact.
• Perform outbound calls to users who leave callback.
• Handle emails as assigned by team leader.
• Handle responses via the Chatbot.
