To assist the Project Manager on project site work by focusing mainly on the aspects of construction, safety quality management, and project coordination of projects and maintenance works and to ensure smooth work progression and completion within target time and budget.

• Prepare method statements, design plans, and specifications.
• Liaise with the stakeholders (e.g. clients, authorities, consultants) on permits, drawings, and design matters.
• Develop projected milestone and operational plans for different phases of the project which includes scheduling, monitoring, and reviewing of the work of others.
• Determine project requirements and estimate resources such as manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure that site works are executed accordingly based on approved detailed drawings, interpreted plans, and requirements of relevant authorities.
• Ensure project meets dateline/schedule, safety & quality standards of client’s requirements.
• Support contract administration and construction inspection by reviewing final plans, specifications, special conditions, and agreements.
• Other job duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

• Degree in with degree in Civil, mechanical or equivalent
• At least 1 - 2 years relevant experience in construction site
• Prior experience in Refinery / Process Plant on Civil and/or Mechanical projects execution will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• To be the liaison for the coordination of M&E works to ensure works are carried out as per schedule and local authorities’ quality standard.
• To supervise and ensure that work done are in accordance with the required drawings and specifications as per the contract.
• To monitor closely and report promptly work progress to superior.
• Coordinate and prepare technical submissions with sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure timely work arrangements.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering/Building Construction/Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent qualification or relevant on-the-job experience are welcome.
• More than 3-years of work experience in the Construction sector would be preferred.
• Good team player and able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

1. To supervise and manage the functions of Repacking/Containment/ICW operations and Maintenance.
2. To monitor the safe process flow and backlog level of TIW waste.
3. Ensure all staff are well trained according to OJT programme and following the safe work procedures and SOPs.
4. To ensure the effectiveness and smoothness of coordination with operation and sales team and customer service maintaining high quality of services.
5. To monitor the outgoing containment purchase budget and encourage the recycling of used containment to save cost.
6. Daily and regular inspection of the operation processes and monitor the plant 5S and TPM activities, safety and discipline at works, machineries and equipment conditions.
7. Work with Lab chemists to evaluate and develop new treatment methods and handing procedures for new and unknown wastes, and review of operation costs and regular update to management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
• At least 2 year relevant experience

Remuneration:

• Basic salary: $3,400 – $3,800
• Company Transport / Transport Allowance $120 if candidate possess own transport
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm
