The Technical Manager is designated as the Design Manager of the LTA MRT project, in charge of design management of the project and managing the consultant and client’s expectation to deliver the project within budget.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Overall responsible for all permanent and temporary works design and design optimization by managing the appointed consultant to ensure that project is delivered within budget.
• Responsible for handling client and consultant, coordinate with consultants, client and authorities for design matters and submission.
• Oversee the shop drawings submission and issuance, planning and control delivery of design schedule, monitoring the progress.
• Coordinate and support the construction and other departments within the project to fulfil design requirement.
• Resolve all technical queries and submit/raise Request for Approval / Information (RFA/I) to concern parties to clarify any ambiguous design details.
• Review technical specifications and proposals submitted by Consultants / Subcontractors / Suppliers and produce procurement specifications.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace

Skills & Requirements

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university endorsed by PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control
• Experience: Minimum 12 years of engineering experience in delivering projects with at least 8 years of experience in design of civil and infrastructure project
• Extensive experience within a construction environment demonstrating accountability and ability to meet commitments through key internal stakeholders, clients, and staff at all levels.
• Technical Competencies: Technical expertise and knowledge in Structural, Architectural Design
• Proven track record of managing teams and delivering projects from start to hand-over

The Technical Analyst/Consultant will document business and functional requirements and analyse and design technical solutions to meet the business requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical analysis, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including strong business stakeholder management skills.

• Develop and maintain business, application and data architectures and specifications.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and checklists to support BAU monitoring and project implementations.

• PLAN: Support the project/delivery manager in planning and managing initiatives or projects. Candidate may be required to take on scrum master role to break down work items and schedule them for sprint delivery.
• DESIGN:
  • Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clear and comprehensive specifications.
  • Solutioning: Conduct detailed technical analysis of business requirements, system specifications, and existing processes to identify solutions and improvements. Design and develop technical solutions, including data models, system integrations, and workflows including preparation of technical user stories.
• TEST:
  • Develop and execute test plans in SIT to validate technical solutions, ensuring they meet the specified requirements and function correctly.
  • Review UAT plan, test cases and coordinate with users and testing team on actual UAT execution and resolution of UAT defects. Ensure regression and sanity tests are performed for major deployments.
• BUILD: Manage clarifications of requirements and solution details with technical team to ensure that the build and testing phases are fully aligned with the requirements matrix.
• RELEASE: Assist the delivery manager in reviewing release notes and coordinating with IT Ops, business stakeholders and vendors/developers for the release to production and post live verifications.
• POST DELIVERY: Assist delivery manager in managing the resolution of production issues and working with the team on providing the root cause analysis and closing issues with business users

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in technical analysis, system design, and/or development
• Have led/facilitated business requirements and solutioning workshops with the business and technical teams and have prepared business, functional and technical specifications.
• Experience in designing solutions and creating high level designs of applications including interfaces, servers and workflows.
• Experience in client relationship management and/or project management in a technological context.

• Ensuring Safety of the vessel and her crew always as a top priority.
• Manage technical requirements and operation of Offshore vessels such as DP2, DP3 Subsea Dive Support (DSV), PSV, AHTS, and other assets.

• Manage vessel’s Class and certification requirements, inclusive of the renewal of certificates & support for vessel’s Flag and Class requirements.

Requirements and Exeperience (Essential skills, qualifications, and experience):

• Previous experience in a Shipping and offshore marine operations related company is a must, preferably within a Ship Management organization.
• Prior experience either as a Technical Superintendent or a Vessel Manager for a minimum of 3 to 5 years managing offshore oil and gas assets such as Subsea, Offshore Construction, and OSVs. Having also interfaced or managed conventional vessels would be an added advantage.
• Having sailed as a Marine Engineering officer on offshore or conventional vessels, and should hold a MEO Class 1 or Class II Certificate of Competency as a minimum.
• Recognised marine qualification/experience either at sea or university or shore-based experience would be essential.
• Ability to communicate openly, efficiently, and effectively.

As a technical support engineer, you’ll be part of a global team whose main focus is ensuring that Wise API integrations get an industry-leading level of assistance when they need it. • Desktop Technician will provide day to day local\remote desktop support, receive inbound calls, answer questions, troubleshoot and document steps performed to resolve challenges with hardware, software and application issues in a ticketing system.
