• Willingness to work in teams on 12-hour rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Ability to follow documented work instructions and procedures effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze the current state of the product runtime environment (both production and non-production) to ensure optimal system performance.
• Collaborate with application teams, solution architects, and security consultants to implement improvement plans based on data-driven strategies.
• Manage application and security incidents, and determine the cause of issues, working with internal teams and vendors to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Provide escalation and reporting to higher management or the incident committee when necessary.
• Develop operational and process guides to ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Handle day-to-day operation activities, analyze statistics, and generate status and progress reports for stakeholders and higher management.
• Assist in managing an operations team, ensuring 24/7 support availability.

Experience and Skills Needed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Operations Engineer or in a similar role in an IT setting.
• Experience with change management and incident management workflows, using ITSM tools such as Remedy, Zendesk, or ServiceDesk.
• Experience with cloud-native monitoring tools (e.g., Cloudwatch, Stackdriver) and the OpenAPM stack.
• Experience in implementing process automation with tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies, DevOps pipelines, and test-driven development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a high-performance team and positively influence team dynamics.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues to non-technical teams.
