The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the entire development lifecycle, from project initiation to deployment, ensuring that the team adheres to coding standards, best practices, and meets deadlines. In addition to technical expertise, effective communication skills are crucial, as the Technical Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project managers to align technical decisions with business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Technical Leadership – lead and guide the software development team with technical expertise.
• Establish Framework and Standards – formulate frameworks, standards and processes for governing the low code development platform.
• Enforce Coding Standards & Best Practices – set and ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices and development methodologies.
• Ensure Code Quality & Security – conduct thorough code reviews, implement automated testing and address security best practices.
• Collaborate Across Teams – collaborate with cross-functional teams within and outside the IT department.
• Facilitate Effective Communication – ensure effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay Informed and Drive Innovation – stay updated on industry trends, recommend tools and technologies, and drive process improvements while promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

Requirements:

• A recognised degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Minimum 12 years of Information Technology experience in designing, implementing and supporting IT systems; and more than 8 years proven experience in IT Solutioning.
• Keen appreciation of technologies and strong interest in translating of technology stack to meet business processes and process re-engineering
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services and strong understanding of the different types of IT Systems and architectures.
• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to the technology stack used by the company (e.g., .Net, Java, Python, C#, etc.).
• Experience with web development frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Node.js, etc.).
• Understanding of database design, management, and query (SQL, NoSQL).
• Experience in administering and building QlikView/QlikSense, Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Experience in Low-Code platform & RPA such as OutSystem, PowerApps, UiPath, Power Automate, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Good written & verbal communication and presentation skills

Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor Degree in a related field.
• Proven experience in strategy development, business management, and financial analysis.

Role and Responsibilities

Business Management:

• Spearhead the department’s internal communication and engagement plan - assist in the planning, execution, and/or coordination of meetings, forums, and/or internal events. Responsible for regular and ad hoc senior management reporting and presentations.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business and operational performance, and identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee smooth functioning of day-to-day administrative activities with support of the department's Executive Assistant.

• Governance:

• Support orchestration and delivery of governance mechanisms ensuring that appropriate decisions, forums and documentation are made to support running of department.

• Portfolio Management:

• Support development and management of comprehensive business plans, including financial projections, budget, workforce and risk assessments, to support decision-making processes.
• Provide leadership in project management, monitoring progress across departmental portfolio and applying corrective actions.

Job Scope:

• Utilize various communication channels including emails, phone calls, and other mediums to effectively address client concerns and resolve issues
• Respond promptly to sales inquiries from customers, collaborating closely with the operational team to facilitate order delivery

Job Description:

• Assist Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager
• Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Consultant team.
• Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance to approve drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
• Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
• Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
• Maintain site records.
• Estimated commencement of work in July 2024

Job Requirements:

• ITE certificate / Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.
• Accredited with IES-ACES Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) with valid RTO Practising Certificate
