Responsibilities :

• Assists Bank Staff PIC to lead and manage HO System related Upgrade Project effectively with HO System PIC and other stakeholders.
• Candidate should be familiar with ITSM, should be able to handle daily incidents and problems by engaging respective stakeholder.
• Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking the progress of project activities and BAU activities under the Bank.
• Develop and manage project and BAU activities plans including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to gather system requirements, business requirements and BAU requirements.
• Lead project and BAU tasks, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring progress to ensure project milestones and BAU timelines are met.
• Identify and mitigate project and BAU activity risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions to project/BAU timelines and objectives.
• Prepare regular status reports and presentations for project or BAU stakeholders, communicating project and BAU progress, risks and issues.
• Coordinate and facilitate project/BAU-related meetings, including project kick-off meetings, status update meetings, and requirement discussion meetings.
• Perform BAU activities on behalf of Bank Staff PIC with the support from Bank Staff PIC.

Requirements :

• At least 5 years of experience of IT project management as a PM or PMO.
• Proficiency in Japanese, with excellent oral and written communication skills, to ensure effective collaboration with Japanese-speaking counterparts.
• Proven organisational skills and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks.
• Experience of IT project management as a PM or PMO, preferably within a bank.
• Knowing Japanese Bank culture is really a plus.
• Experience in Software development or delivery team is a plus.
• Deep understanding of banking operations especially for Core Banking operations is a plus.
