Role:

• Assist the Senior Technical Manager in overseeing the technical operations of a fleet of tankers.
• Manage daily maintenance and repair activities, budget survey schedules, and docking operations.
• Maintain updated records of class status and coordinate with Classification Societies, Suppliers, and Contractors for daily operations.
• Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under ISM, ISPS, and MLC.
• Monitor, coordinate, and attend vessel inspections by oil majors, statutory surveys, and follow up on related matters.
• Conduct and report on incident/accident investigations.

Requirements:

• Sea-going experience as a Marine Engineer and atleast 2 years of shore experience as technical superintendent or fleet manager.
• MOT Engineer Certification (Class 1).
• Strong organizational skills with a hands-on approach to technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Independent, resourceful, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to travel on short notice as needed.

Role:

• Ensure vessels meet required technical standards and performance levels.
• Systematically update and store vessels’ certificates and documents.
• Implement the Company’s planned maintenance system effectively.
• Prepare, arrange, and manage class, statutory, and other vessel surveys.
• Prepare, manage, and monitor dry-dockings and other necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Review and enhance crew performance on vessels.
• Prepare and manage the technical budget for vessels.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Tanker seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (minimum COC Class 2 or 3), or at least 2 years of experience as a technical superintendent for oil tankers and bunker tankers.
• Strong integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in spoken and written communication.
