Responsibilities

• To operate and run day to day AV and VC system for virtual and physical events.
• Plan and manage schedule for multiple events, to ensure setup and tests are done
• Responsible in ensuring AV and VC system are in good working condition by conducting predictive and preventive maintenance, daily, weekly and monthly routine inspection of equipment.
• Monitor and attend to maintenance service requests, investigate and initiate corrective actions for any service and equipment breakdown, or fault detected during routine check, servicing and maintenance.
• Maintain an asset inventory with proper labelling as well as problem and incident reports.
• Ensure the updating of the engineering systems information databases (such as drawings, operation and maintenance manual, etc.).
• Coordinate and work with audio and visual equipment and cleaning contractors to set up meeting venues including seating arrangements and equipment.

Requirements

• At least three (3) years’ relevant experience in AV equipment operations, maintenance and facility management services.
• The technicians shall hold minimum a NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facility Management or Mechanical and Electrical Services or equivalent.
• Experience in broadcasting and live production or AV and VC operation and maintenance with supervisory responsibility.
• Good understanding of hardware (cameras, video switchers, lighting, sound) needed to run professional videos and live streams.
• Experience with filming equipment and studio production, with working experience on production sets or part of a production team.
• Good interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.

Job Description

• Deburr, clean and check the quality of the casting before deliver to Assembly.
• Taking care of the working area following 5S and Safety standard.
• Managing the casting request from Assembly.
• Manual Rework the casting if any (Scrapping, manual drilling/tapping, removing the broken drill/tap).
• Operating and troubleshooting of AGV for delivering casting to Assembly.
• Follow the workplace safety and health system, safe work procedures or safety rules implemented at the workplace.
• New hire is required to undergo specific Audiometric tests for who are exposed to certain occupational hazards.

• Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• High motivation to learn

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair electrical systems and machinery to ensure all equipment is in good working condition within the manufacturing plant.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions using proper tools.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and work on time-sensitive repairs.
• Monitor and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), frequency converter and other automation systems.
• Inspect electrical systems, wiring, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Document maintenance activities and prepare detailed reports on repairs and inspections.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.
• Data Collection, readings and monitoring
• Maintain proper Housekeeping and Safety awareness on all job tasked by Equipment Engineer.
• Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems and policy, including the implications of nonconforming to the requirements and the assessment of occupational risks and hazards.
• Schedule regular communication with employees to discuss expectations and challenges and help to remove obstacles related to product safety and quality.
• Act on comments and suggestions from employees about product safety and quality seriously, and regularly encourage employees to offer ideas about improving product safety and quality.
• Allocate time for employees to receive product safety and quality training, as well as regular updates and refresher session

Job Requirements:

• At least 3 years of working experience in engineering / manufacturing
• At least 1 years of working experience in engineering / manufacturing
• Ability to understand electrical, mechanical and pneumatic diagrams
• Basic knowledge in inverters, motor drives and mechanical assembly
• PLC knowledge is an added advantage
