PC Refresh Technician

We are looking for experienced junior and senior full-time PC refresh technicians to provide End User Computing or Deskside support to Multinational companies in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities & Requirement:

Primary

• Provide level 2 End User Computing support and well verse in Windows OS
• Good Hardware and software troubleshooting skills for PC.
• Break fix and IMAC support for end user deskside equipment
• Basic troubleshooting skills for IOS and android devices.
• Handles asset and peripherals inventory management.
• Meeting room and AV equipment knowledge.
• Provide smart hands support for networks and servers
• Able to support off hours or require to perform ad hoc duties as and when needed
• Familiar with Service Desk ticketing systems and process.
• VIP support
• Able to support off hours or require to perform ad hoc duties as and when needed

Job Requirement:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in computer science / information technology or relevant field.
• Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or support technician.
• At least 3 years of IT deskside support experiences for junior level.
• At least more than 6 years of IT deskside support experiences for senior level.
• A good team player.

What’s the role?

• Operating process units within the Production Area to achieve Shift Plan in accordance to Daily Operating Instructions, Standing Instructions and Site Health, Safety, Security, Environment procedures.
• Operating the plant optimally within alarm, Design-Operating-Window and the Integrity-Operating-Window.
• Perform structured rounds (DCS Panel/Field) for field data logging and proactive monitoring. Take corrective action to maintain equipment and plant operations within optimal operating windows. Raise GSAP notifications for defects/maintenance issues with preliminary assessment of work order prioritization.
• Managing plant and equipment upsets, abnormal conditions and subsequent troubleshooting including incidents/plant emergencies and subsequent follow-up. Perform initial troubleshooting of more challenging/abnormal issue/high risk task (e.g. valve passing, leak, test point or drain line choked etc.).
• Update operating procedures, prepare job pack documentation and execute them for equipment maintenance
• Carry out operational activities like sampling, equipment decontamination and isolation for maintenance, equipment commissioning, critical activities go and see etc.
• Participate in shutdown and start-up of units with thoughtful compliance to procedures.
• Perform the role of Authorized Gas Safety Tester (AGST) which includes conduct gas testing, providing oversight of critical activities and incompatible activities, issuance of permits for safe execution of maintenance tasks and turnaround activities
• Participating in minor maintenance activities and maintain good housekeeping.
• Keeping log records of operational activities for optimal and thorough handover to other shifts.
• Support team shift plan delivery and competency development proactively.
• Share observations of good practices, unsafe acts/conditions, near misses and incidents. Support shift 5 why to understand the root cause of PQ/DOW/upset incident occur within the shift to capture and facilitate learning across shift.
• Perform the role of Auxiliary Fire Fighter if assigned in the event of emergency situations
• Apply emerging technologies to perform process operational tasks
• Carry out/Perform other related duties when required
• This role will be based in Pulau Bukom, on a rotating 12-hour shift.

What we need from you?

• Ready competency to independently operate Bukom PHU/BEU or BDX unit is a must. Overall minimum 5 year of experience in Ethylene Cracker and Utility Complex.

Job Description:

• Responsible for troubleshooting and carrying out diagnostic works on issues highlighted by customers, ensuring and cultivating a "fix it right the first time" for all assigned vehicles

• Coach fellow mechanics and technicians and CSAs by providing advice and technical assistance to produce quality work
• Inspect and diagnose maintenance and repair-related problems
• Troubleshoot maintenance problems and recommend corrective actions
• Responsible to ensure the utilisation of all assets for the repairs and maintenance of motor vehicles
• Planning and execution of jobs and ensuring that jobs are carried out safely and efficiently and to achieve maximum production and workshop targets.
• Supervise and perform skilled operations in the repair and overhaul of motor vehicles
• Repair, maintain, and service vehicles & their mechanical & electronic components
• Ensure vehicles are serviced, maintained, and repaired to a high standard, and supervise and assist the mechanics
• Check the activities in the workshop, inspect completed work for compliance with safety and other statutory regulations, and make sure defects are repaired

• Minimum Higher Nitec in Automotive Technology or its equivalent
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of vehicles

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Responsible to conduct maintenance service and repair of heavy vehicle like buses.

2. Carry out preventive maintenance / corrective maintenance on electric vehicle components to ensure optimal performance and safety.

3. Managing and maintaining high-voltage battery systems, including monitoring battery health, balancing cells, and performing capacity tests.

4. Updating and calibrating the vehicle's control systems, ensuring they are running the latest software for optimal performance.

5. Ensuring all electrical systems and components meet safety standards and regulations set by relevant authorities.

6. Maintaining detailed records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and inspections performed on each vehicle.

7. 9Ensure work bay, workstation and hand tools maintain and organized in satisfactory condition.

8. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualification & Experience:

1. ITE NTC 3/2 or Nitec in Automotive Technology (Heavy Vehicle).

2. 2-3 years’ experience in automotive trade, heavy vehicle repair & maintenance would be an added advantage.

3. Experience in operating common workshop tools (e.g. Air Jack, Hoist, wheel balancing machine etc).

4. Team Player.

5. Possess work related licences, would be an added advantage (e.g. WAH, Rigger & Signalman, Fork Lift, Singapore Driving Class 3/4).
