Position Summary/Overview:

The Data Center Operation technician has overall responsibility to support the troubleshooting and

coordinating activities pertaining to the day-to-day support of the data centers and critical facilities. He/She is responsible for troubleshooting, managing the vendors/contractors and report to the Data Center Operation Site Lead.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of contractors or vendors and support in the daily data centre operations
• Perform data centre operations and inspections including monitoring and management for infrastructure systems, DC environment and facilities
• Monitor critical facilities and infrastructure system alerts and perform necessary escalation
• Perform incident management and escalation pertaining to any facilities and system downtime
• Manage and administer the service desk operations

• Maintain the site asset database, provide updates in accordance with CMMS requirements.

Education & Experience:

• Possess a Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent
• Possess Data Centre Certifications such as Certified Data Centre Professional
• Possess at least 3 years’ experience in Data Centre Operations, Facilities Monitoring & Management
• Familiar with Data Centre facilities including Computer Room Air-Con (CRAC), fire suppression system, water detection system, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and etc
• Familiar with Service Desk operations and incident management process
• Basic understanding on the operation of MEP systems
• Resourceful, analytical and problem solving skill
• Good communications and interpersonal skills

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on packaging and conveying equipment, including vehicles, chassis, forklifts, and industrial facilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system faults.
• Identify technical issues through inspections and tests; analyze and diagnose malfunctions.
• Use various tools and equipment for diagnosis and repair; order and replace parts, working with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate repair records and parts inventory; communicate findings and repair options.
• Attend to breakdowns, reduce equipment downtime, and enhance performance through quality maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies, maintain workplace housekeeping, and follow safe work procedures.

• Possession of Diploma, NITEC, NTC-2 or ITC Mechatronic / Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Equipment knowledge - Bagging/ packaging/ conveyor system
• General knowledge of AC drives and electrical motors, pneumatic cylinders and roller/chain conveyors

Quality Technician (Jurong Island)

Responsibilities

• Support production shift team with sample testing
• Cleaning and preparation of sampling apparatus, Ampule, gel bottles and other laboratory glassware.
• Prepare reagent and standard sample for analytical equipment.
• Report abnormalities and support troubleshooting of equipment.
• Review and revise for QC process flow, control plan and SOP of analytical such as non-prime product, process problems and complain.
• Investigate root cause and take corrective action plan.
• Planning for analytical process modification and analytical process change.

Requirements

• Min NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Engineering field or other relevant certificates
• Possess Analytical knowledge and Skills such as gas chromatography, gel permeation chromatography, Fourier infrared analysis, gel analysis, Karl Fischer’s method and titration method) are preferred
• Highly motivated, a team player, with the ability to multitask and project management skills
• Understand quality policy and basic rule.

• Plan and perform preventative maintenance on all production equipment according to company's ISO, GMP, HACCP and QHSE requirements
• Ensure compliance of company QHSE policy & local EHSS Legislations
• Participate actively in Quality Health Safety & Environment (QHSE) activities (E.g. Trainings, Concern Reporting, Safety Risk Assessment (SRA) Review, correction of QHSE hazards and unsafe conditions)
• Conduct housekeeping in work area and ensure compliance of site safety regulations to prevent accidents
• Lead repairs, improvement projects implementation and liaise with vendors/contractors scope of work
• Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment. Perform redesign and improvements to equipment for better capability, performance and ensure compliance to management of change process.
• Keep track of spare part and inventory usage to maintain spare part / inventory control.
• Assist procurement in providing technical specification for spare parts
• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis and ensure action follow-up to prevent recurrence of breakdowns
• To prepare Safety Risk Assessment (SRA), Work Instruction (WI) and Troubleshooting Know-How and other training materials when needed
• To identify opportunity and drive continuous improvements in cost saving, quality and yield
• In charge to update all document link to installations (instruments log sheet, electrical cabinet scheme)
• Update technical data sheet on SAP.
• Experience in E&I Maintenance facilities role in Oil and Gas, Chemicals, Petrochemicals industries.
• Operation Knowledge and troubleshooting of Electrical switchgear (22KV/400V/6.6KV), UPS System, Transformer, motor, lights.
• Electrical Shutdown experience maintenance planning, Supervision and LEW coordination (22KV/6.6KV/400V)
• Knowledge in PLC/DCS.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, PFDs, isometric drawings, and computer literacy.
