Job Summary:

Responsible for manufacturing/test the equipment, production output, quality, on-time delivery, process improvement, safety and housekeeping in the manufacturing line to manufacture high quality products for customers with the objective of ensuring smooth business operations within department guidelines, work protocols and corporate policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform product functional/system test and leak test, identify errors and conduct rework if required
• Actively involved in the knowledge and capability build up the manufacturing/test team (TTS)
• Document troubleshooting methodology, information, analyzes facts/conditions regarding the reported issue, and create coaching materials/technical materials (TTS)
• Lead and actively participate in manufacturing continuous improvement program (TTS)
• Initiate ideas to improve productivity, quality & safety
• Ensure full and efficient pass down to the next shift
• Report and assist engineers in problem solving and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with engineers in line issues problem solving and troubleshooting (TTS)
• Escalate up for any unresolve problems or abnormalities for resolution
• Train and guide newcomers (Buddy System)
• Highlight any problems or abnormalities in production floor
• Perform housekeeping, adhere to manufacturing discipline and cleanroom protocol
• Support other ad-hoc activities and tasking that assign by the superior

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Basic computer literacy
• Possess hands-on experience in equipment manufacturing and troubleshooting
• Competent in analytical problem solving and statistical tools
• Ability to work in a systematic manner and can withstand occasional workload & schedule pressure
• Independent, self-driven, and able to work with less supervision

Educational/Certification Requirement:

• NITEC / Higher NITEC/ Professional Certificate or its equivalent
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics /Mechatronics/Engineering

Experience Requirement:

• Able to comprehend electrical / mechanical drawings
• Willing to commit to the shift pattern and OT if required
• Able to carry heavy loads (up to 20Kg)
• Must be willing to work in the cleanroom environment: wearing jumpsuits, safety helmet and safety shoes

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(A) SPECIFIC (90%)

• Assist the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders for inpatient and outpatient dispensing which includes typing, packing, labeling and distribution of drug supplies to the wards and other hospital departments.
• Perform billing functions and ensures that cost and revenue of all stocks supplied are recovered.
• Assist the pharmacist in the processing of medication orders for sterile and extemporaneous preparations according to USP guidelines.
• Compounding of antibiotic infusers, eye drops, syringe preparations and topical creams according to the prescriptions and orders.
• Ensure maintenance, sanitation and organization of clean room and related equipment according to policies and procedures.
• Dispenses medicines under the supervision of a pharmacist.
• Monitor and maintain inventory stock level of drugs in the areas of work.
• Receive, unpack and check deliveries against the appropriate documents, to ensure that items supplied are correct and accounted for.
• Perform stock receipts and issues in FIFO order.
• Assist in providing quality customer service.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the work areas and prepare these for daily operations.
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
• *Staff may be assigned to Unit Dose Packaging where they will instead have greater focus on the following duties:
• (UDP) Perform medication repackaging and quality checks as part of pharmacy automation system in accordance with repackaging procedures.
• (UDP) Assist the Unit Dose Packaging Pharmacy In Charge in ensuring the smooth running of UDP operations, including manpower allocation, production job planning, handling enquiries from wards and perform simple troubleshooting of the automation machines.

(B) GENERAL (10%)

• Assist in orientating and training new staff assigned to the section.
• Assist pharmacist in managing the operations in the assigned section.
• Supports the hospital by participating actively in the various activities organized by the hospital. Activities include QC, community projects, staff welfare and recreational activities and etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

(A) EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

1. Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Course (Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore) or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent (clinical track highly preferred).
2. Candidates with experience in an acute hospital setting may be considered for a senior role.

Responsibilities and Tasks

• Interpreting and implementing plans and specifications from engineers and architects.
• Assisting in the coordination and monitoring of various subcontractors and construction workers.

Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Preventive Maintenance Technician (Semiconductor) located in Woodlands. Our clients are headquartered in the USA and established as the global key leader in the Semiconductor industry. You will be following the daily preventive maintenance schedule, managing the arrangement and logistics of new and old parts, and preparing and maintaining PM jigs and tools. Key tasks involve performing preventive maintenance on robots, such as cleaning and greasing parts, and replacing sensors, motors, and motor drivers. The role also requires the installation of vacuum valves, fore line pipes, and heater jackets. Additionally, the individual will assist tool owner engineers with technical activities like troubleshooting, modifications, installations, and de-installations in the fabrication area. Support for 6S practices, including parts cleaning, organization, labeling, and housekeeping, is also a significant part of the job.

Qualifications:

• Min. NITEC or Diploma in any Engineering field or equivalent certification
• Willing to do hands-on work and comfortable to be in cleanroom suit
• Work experience in semiconductor industry will be an added advantage

Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings (mechanical) for the quality inspection requirements which includes basic geometric dimension and tolerance (GD&T).

• Able to use various types of measuring equipment including CMM like caliper, micrometers , pin gauges & Thread gauges.

• Hands on knowledge of CMM ( Zeiss ), capable in CMM programming is a plus.

• Ensure in-process quality meets the specification and requirement stipulated in the work instructions or procedure

• Require to perform incoming, in-process inspection &, outgoing inspection using CMM. Maintenance of CMM and Inspection Room.

• Perform inspection of parts as specified including cosmetic appearance.

• Perform calibration and recording for Measuring Instruments.

• Capable of preparing Inspection Report. Familiar with Microsoft office software

Job Requirement :

• ITC/Higher NITEC in QA or manufacturing related areas (Precision Engineering).

• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in manufacturing and precision industry (preferadly in metal machining).

• Ability to muti-task, willing to work overtime (including week end).

• Strong team player and able to work independently.
