- Simulate user issues to identify and resolve network and connectivity problems. Conduct root cause analysis to pinpoint the source of infrastructure incidents and devise temporary and permanent solutions.
- Recommend system modifications to address ongoing issues. Oversee updates and maintain an accurate system inventory.
- Mentor and train teams on resolving infrastructure-related incidents.
- Lead the planning and requirements phases of infrastructure network operations projects.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure replacement plans. Manage the implementation of approved infrastructure changes and maintenance routines.
- Oversee network operations activities and the installation of network systems according to design specifications. Ensure alignment with service level agreements.
- Develop and manage service-level objectives and targets. Monitor performance to meet or exceed requirements.
- Develop client satisfaction metrics and service procedures. Propose recommendations to improve performance and client satisfaction.
- Pilot new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance infrastructure performance.
- Manage infrastructure network testing and implementation.
- Address identified vulnerabilities and ensure solutions are implemented in accordance with company policies.
- Gather performance and data usage statistics for capacity planning and reporting.
- Perform ongoing tuning and optimization of infrastructure network hardware and software components.
- Manage and troubleshoot SDWAN infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certified in CCNP, NSE, and CCSA.
- Cloud certification and experience preferred.
- Proficient in network management tools such as SolarWinds, WLC, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
- Understanding of cloud network architecture, particularly Azure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible to work outside of standard business hours.
