• Experience managing various Contract formats (Reimbursable/Re-measurable/Lump Sum) for Major and Mega-Projects
• A high degree of skill in written and oral communications.

Roles and responsibilities of Instrumentation Engineer

• Execute operational activities of the project within the timeframe, resources, and contract specifications
• Lead and execute the geotechnical instrumentation installation and monitoring works
• Assist the SIE/PM to ensure the smooth delivery of the project
• Involve in the preparation and submission of drawings, reports, and relevant documents to stakeholder
• Plan daily site activities, monitor project progress and work done quantity
• Ensure works are in accordance with drawing requirements. Ensure good quality of work including calibration of monitoring equipment
• Obtain any authorities’ or in-house clearances before work commencement
• Coordinate with the main civil contractor on the daily site works. Handle subcontractors’ activities (if any)

Job Description

• Review engineering drawing & specifications, design and execute engineering experiments, calculations and statistical control for new products & processes

Experience

The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the installation of medical devices at various OR, ICU, CSSD and other healthcare project sites. This role requires technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall planning and implementation to ensure timely delivery and meet the customer's requirements.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and project managers to ensure project alignment.
• Attend project meetings with the customer, main contractor and other parties.
• Prepare the monthly project documents: project progress report, project claims, minutes of meeting…
• Assist the project manager to collate the necessary project documents: scope of works, project timeline, method of statement, risk assessment, T&C checklists, OMM and material for submission.
• Work with company design engineer to prepare the project drawings for submission (equipment setting out, utility requirement, equipment elevation views…).
• Coordination of the company internal resources (project, service, logistics…) and external parties (sub contractors, main contract) to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Conduct side surveys, technical assessments and feasibility studies.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and company installation requirements.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during installation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• WSQ Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry - WSHMCI (Formerly known as WSQ SCWWSH, MOM BCSS)
• Experience in project engineering, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
