Position Overview:
As a Process Engineer for our Polyisoprene Rubber Latex manufacturing facility located in Singapore, Jurong Island. Responsibilities will include analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational performance. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in the Singapore petrochemical/refining sector and possess a strong understanding of process engineering principles. Experience in Rubber, Solid, Slurry will have an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Data Analysis: Analyze process data to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
Project Management: Lead or participate in Initiative Projects aimed at upgrading or expanding existing processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and safety, to achieve operational excellence and resolve any process-related issues.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all processes adhere to local and international regulations, standards, and guidelines related to safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and engineering calculations.
Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to operators to enhance their understanding of processes and ensure adherence to best practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in process engineering within the petrochemical or refining industry.
Strong knowledge of process simulation tools, such as Aspen plus , excel based calculations
Familiar with safety and environmental regulations in the petrochemical sector.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
Project management experience ,SCEM and/or Water Efficiency Manager certified (Preferred)
