1. Roles and Responsibilities (Full-Stack Engineer)

a. Analyse the Client needs, scope the problem and develop business case to address the problem

b. Document requirements, source and evaluate alternatives, and recommend solution that best fits the Client needs

c. Work with Client vendor and app vendor on the solutions and design to seek clarification and acceptance.

d. Design, develop and deliver working software applications to delight customers

e. Improve software quality using XP practices such as code review and unit testing

2. Knowledge and Skills (Full-Stack Engineer)

a. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

b. Experience with version control systems such as Git

c. Experience in front end technologies such as Angular

d. Experience in backend technologies such as Java, Python, Node.js

e. Experience in low code application platforms such as Pega

f. Experience in one or more of the following processes and infrastructure knowledge:

• Agile processes/practices

•Continuous integration/continuous deployment

• Cloud/PaaS platforms, such as AWS/GCP

•Serverless Framework

•Docker/container technology

g. Experience with low code development and wireframing tools such as Figma

What will you do?

• The Team aims to spearhead the digital transformation of government. The GCC (Government Commercial Cloud) platform provides a federated agency hosting and infrastructure through modern cloud architecture implementation and the modernising of Government applications through adoption of agile development practices.
• The Team is seeking independent and motivated Solution Engineer who has experience in both small and big scale cloud-based projects, to support agencies and the GCC product team to create value in the GCC platform. This role will work closely with the agency users, GCC product and partnering teams, using a collaborative approach with strong technical understanding, to assist and ensure that the GCC platform continues to add value to agencies.

As a Solution Engineer, you will be required to:

• Work directly with GCC engineering team, product team and various key stakeholders.
• Support development of proof-of-concepts for GCC platform in concert with product team and various stakeholders.
• Take ownership of end-to-end solutions provided by teams across the organisation.
• Provide system troubleshooting and problem solving across platform and application domains, expect to participate in on-call escalations to troubleshoot customer facing issues.
