• Ownership over feature design and implementation, with a focus on sound technical choices and maintainability. At times, this would be in collaboration with other software engineers.

What are we looking for?

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, Java, Python, or C++
• Candidates with Nodejs or Golang experience are preferred
• Familiar with common Internet technologies, including but not limited to backend, database, MQ, caching, microservice architectures and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Contribute in technical discussions and solutioning sessions.
• Possess good coding and documentation habits, pay attention to code style, familiar with basic design patterns and principles, and continuously focus and optimize projects
• Autonomy to drive the direction of the product
• Chance to work on creating developer tooling systems from the ground up, from research all the way to implementation.
• Chance to work with different development teams while enabling them to be more productive at the same time
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills; communicating technically complex ideas to non-technical people effectively is a plus

Responsibilities:

• System and network setup, deploy and maintenance support for projects
• Provide technical proposals and deliver with quality standards and deadlines
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team, assisting with problem-solving and decision-making
• Participate and support cybersecurity risk assessment, hardening and VAPT
• Setup and conduct UAT test for system, storage, switches, router and firewall
• Perform system and network hardening, VAPT test and provide solutions to VAPT

Prerequisites:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant disciplines
• Familiar and hands-on experience in design, setup, harden and deploy Windows/Linux OS, Storage and MSSQL server
• Familiar and hands-on experience in design, setup, harden and deploy Huawei/Cisco switches, router, FortiGate Firewall, NMS and MFA software
• Prepare system setup, deployment, manual and hardening documentations based on the project requirements
• Proficient in Cybersecurity principles, hardening methodologies, scripting and tools
• Possess CCNA, CISSP, Security+ , CISA certified will be a plus
• Willing to standby and attend projects' system issues during off office hours

Job Responsibilities

• Plan work schedule, resources (manpower, material, equipment) and execute project
• Regular communication with project stakeholders to coordinate site works
• Execute project in accordance with workplan and construction drawings with no compromise on quality and safety
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned

Job Requirements

• Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering from a University recognised by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB)
• 3 years relevant working experience
• Willing to learn and have initiative
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
