We are looking for a Marketing & Communications Executive to undertake marcomm duties for a firm that specialises in heritage and tourism. You will be part of a team that has an interesting and meaningful work environment. You will be involved in raising awareness of and saving Singaporean heritage sites.

Salary: $2,600 - $3,200 (commensurate with relevant qualifications and experience)

Key Responsibilities

Day-to-day management of marketing campaigns, social media accounts & digital platforms

• Research, generate and update content and marketing campaigns
• Develop creative and engaging infographics & videos
• Respond to customer enquiries via phone & online platforms
• Manage communications and branding strategies for the firm with external parties

Details:

a. Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (e.g.; brochures, interview responses, press releases, website materials, social media captions)

b. Attend to and draft responses to customer enquiries via phone or in-person or online platforms

c. Design simple posters and other visuals for, but not limited to, signages, website, wayfinding and social media

d. Enhance online user experience on various communication platforms to provide marketing support to in-house or external events

e. Establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g.; tenants, clients, programme partners, media relations, web designers & e-commerce platforms)

f. Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures

g. Assist with any ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by Management

Requirements

● Diploma in Marketing/Mass Communications, BA Degree in Visual Communications/Digital Marketing, or equivalent

● Have a strong command of English language, written and spoken

● Creative flair and problem-solving abilities

● Proficient in MS office, Adobe Illustrator, Canva and other relevant design software

● Proficient in WordPress and Weebly website

● Responsible and able to work independently with minimal supervision

● Singaporeans/ SPR preferred

Advantageous if Candidate Possesses

● At least 2 years of working experience

● Have photography and / or videography skills and experience in relevant editing software

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the overall execution of events, including planning, coordination, and execution.
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and sponsors to ensure all their needs are met, managing the day-of event operations.
• Ensure that all events meet the client's expectations and budget.
• Maintain accurate records of all event activities and expenses.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
• Manage any issue that may arise during the event, including resolving conflicts amongst individuals and managing crisis situations.

• At least two years of working experience in a similar position, preferably in an event management or hospitality industry. Fresh graudates are welcome.

What will you do

• Prepare and maintain financial reports and accounting records in accordance with corporate guidelines, corporate timelines and local statutory requirements
• Manage the full spectrum of the accounting functions, including payables and receivables, fixed assets management, general ledger, and cash flow management
• Prepare monthly journal and balance sheet reconciliations, checking and ensuring proper accounting treatment, completeness, and accuracy
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
• Assist in the preparation of the quarterly GST report and review annual tax returns
• Coordinate and liaise with external parties (e.g. external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities) where required
• Collaborating with stakeholders to seek for continuous improvements in internal processes
• Support finance team on ad-hoc tasks and projects.
