QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in procurement or supply chain roles.
• Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft office software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in acquisition of turn-key system would be an added advantage

You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all AV systems, supporting school events, and enhancing the teaching and learning experience through effective AV solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain various AV equipment such as visualisers, projectors, speakers, control panels, switchers, and mixers.
• Oversee and manage AV systems in special rooms, including auditoriums, ensuring smooth operation of sound control panels, microphone setups, and matrix systems.
• Provide technical support and advice for live-streaming and video conferencing for school events.
• Integrate AV solutions with school IT systems and ensure seamless functionality across platforms.
• Manage AV assets, including maintenance, replacement, and inventory.
• Support school events by managing AV setup and providing technical assistance.
• Provide training to staff and students on the use of AV equipment.

About the role

A solution orientated Procurement Executive who can formulate and drive a consistent approach towards all sourcing, negotiation, purchasing and tendering activities, to ensure value for money is maximized and cost savings generated. She/he will always ensure that all purchasing activities support and strengthen the strategic objectives of the overall organization.

What you will be doing

• Co-ordinate, facilitate and manage Procurement processes - Sourcing, RFQ, Negotiation, Vendor Management etc
• Drive for cost reduction initiatives, promote sustainable sourcing and continuous business processes improvement
• Gather data, market analysis and information of commodities to support plans and decisions (Bench Marking Exercise)
• Engage with Operations teams to deliver added value products and services
• Attend to Operations’ feedback and assist in resolving problems with suppliers
• Support backend offices such as HR, IT, QHSE, Facility etc. in sourcing and negotiation activities
• Work closely with Legal in contract negotiation with suppliers
• Support Procurement team in day-to-day Procurement task and provide administrative support

The successful candidate

• Degree/Diploma in Business or Supply Chain fields
• Ideally 5 years working experiences. Experienced in purchasing and logistics is an advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• Smart time management of workload, resourceful and able to perform and accomplish the tasks assigned under tight schedule
• Innovative/creativity, high integrity, and takes initiative/challenge
• Strong interpersonal/communication skills and effective problem-solving skills
• Team player in a fast pace and dynamic environment
• Basic understanding of purchasing workflow & process

Responsibilities

• Responsible in handling clients' technical questions about BOM BOM products and making appropriate recommendations based on their pet’s health conditions
• Strong command of pet food products available in the market and assessing bioavailability across brands
• Dispense pet nutrition advice; timely problem-solving and effective, fact-based troubleshooting
• Work closely with Procurement and Operations teams to develop new products and ensure product conformity.
• Perform forensic nutritional analysis and research.
• Work alongside partner laboratories to ensure data integrity and nutritional content of meal ingredients.
• Assist with R&D projects on animal dietary requirements and food analysis, driving research topics and sharing content with Marketing team and CS team.
• Provide cover for the Customer Solutions team for Korean and Singapore markets, with adherence to Nutrition Team and Customer Solutions Standard Operating Procedures.
• Participate in pet events/pop-up to educate pet owners on pet nutrition and generate new leads.
• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Qualifications in Animal Sciences, Food Science, or Nutrition a must
• Experience in dealing with animals preferred
• Strong microsoft excel and excellent writing skills
• Detailed oriented with strong analytical skills as well as scientifically inclined
• A love for dogs and cats will be a plus
• Ability to 'challenge the norm'
• Fluent in Korean for the linguistic needs of our Korea client base
