Japanese cuisine

We are looking for a Exucutive Chef to join our Japanese Yakitori Restaurant and prepare authentic Japanese cuisine for our guests.

-Basic Salary Range : $9000-$11000

-Ability to converse in Japanese language will be added advantage for liaison with Japan HQ

-Availability to work on shifts, during business hours, including weekends or public holidays .. -Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.

-Yakitori Chef responsibilities include handling a wide range of raw cargoes and ingredients, managing food stocks and working with an attention to detail to fulfill all orders -within quality standards. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with Japanese cuisine and be available to - work during our opening hours have a full - understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

-Follow company rules and regulations.

-Prepare food orders in a timely and organized manner.

-Lead the team in preparation of all food items required for service on the line

-6 day work a week /44/hours week

You will play a lead role in managing the Contractors in the construction of new MRT Lines and / or enhancement to Existing Lines. You will be involved in the management of the contractors for Stations and Tunnel constructions in elevated or underground constructions.

You will be responsible for the safety, quality, progress and environment impact of the Contractors’ works. You will also assist in planning and managing the risks and cashflows of the various contracts as well as the issuance of instructions and assessment of variations/payments/claims.

• Knowledge in Civil Engineering with familiarity with the relevant local codes and transit construction

• At least 4 years’ experience in large-scale infrastructure projects

• A good appreciation of the constraints and interface requirements of civil and trackwork.

• Strong project management and leadership skills with proven track records

• Good communication (both oral and written) as well as presentation skills

• Team player who is analytical, resourceful and result-oriented

• Experience in the construction of Civil Defence shelters and underground MRT stations will be an advantage

• Candidates with very good relevant experience may be considered for more senior positions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

To assist with the institute through a variety of administrative duties, including organizing and execution of annual workshop and conferences:

• To provide general administrative support to the institute and running of events such as central banker’s workshops and annual conferences, communication with partnering institutes etc.
• Support in planning the visits for RMI’s distinguished and academic visitors.

To assist with RMI’s branding & marketing efforts as well as social media presence:

• Design and create e-flyers for various events and program organized by RMI.
• Maintain RMI’s website with regular updates to keep the webpages up to date.
• Assist in creating relevant LinkedIn posts for the institute’s activities and events and support in curating newsletter content.

To assist in the collaboration with client on training requirements and provide support in planning, organizing and executing of the training Programs (local and overseas):

• Collaborate closely with clients on training requirements to customize local and overseas training program according to their needs.
• Assist in maintaining good relationship with key clients.

• Responsible for the delivery of programs – including preparing printing, catering, venue, claims & audit documents, registration, attendance, enrolment and assessment matters and ensuring smooth delivery of finance and administrative matters.
• Managing of examination and administrative matters if needed
• Handling of enquiries and making sure that students’ needs and enquiry are handled with care.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree holder
• At least 3-5 years of experiences
• Proficiency with MS office applications
• Good communications skills
• Strong attention to details and able to multi-task
• Able to work well independently
• Experiences in social media content management and business development, event management would be preferred

• Ensure a seamless interview process including coordination with hiring managers and candidates to schedule interviews and provision of interview details and instructions to these stakeholders.
• Manage onboarding administration process including employee screenings, issuance of offer letters, collection of employee documents, employee declaration etc.
• Administer work pass application for employees and dependents, where applicable.
