In this role, you play a key part in supporting the implementation of academic governance policies and examination-related processes, and providing secretariat support for NIEC Board of Examiners (BOE) meetings.

What you'll be doing

• Issue electronic copy of academic collaterals, print and issue physical copies to NIEC graduates
• Implement academic governance policies and examination-related processes, monitor and rectify any gaps or inconsistencies
• Provide secretariat support for NIEC BOE meetings
• Generate, analyse and exchange data with internal and external stakeholders for planning, reporting and sharing purposes

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• Preferably with relevant work experience in Registrar’s Office or Academic Affairs Office
• Knowledge in examination-related processes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask
• IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
• High attention to detail, strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to start immediately

Job Description

• Oversee and handle staff benefits-related issues, such as calculating leave quotas and managing insurance or transport applications enrollments and cancellations.
• Ensure accurate and timely entry and maintenance of data in the HR system.
• Prepare and deliver monthly reports and statistics to Payroll for payment processing and recovery.
• Manage external vendors and assess the benefits reports they submit.
• Utilize technology and data analytics to enhance productivity and streamline processes, as well as assist in reviewing SOPs.
• Propose and implement improvements to workflows, including system upgrades, to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide timely advisory and customer service to colleagues while fostering stronger partnerships with stakeholders.
• Lead and contribute to ad-hoc projects as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent
• Preferably 1 year of relevant experience
• Meticulous with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Self-driven and independent, capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
