We are seeking a dynamic and proactive individual to join our team as a Senior Executive in Alumni and Donor Relations.

Job Description

• Alumni Engagement: Reconnect with alumni and identify opportunities for them to give back to the school through their time, treasure, and talent.
• Recognition and Mentorship: Identify distinguished alumni for recognition and work towards establishing mentorship schemes between senior and junior alumni, as well as alumni and current students.
• Donor Relations: Identify potential donors from the alumni pool and cultivate relationships to support the school’s development initiatives.
• Event Planning: Plan and execute regular alumni initiatives, ensuring consistent communication and updates through various channels.
• Administrative Support: Manage the administrative aspects of the role, including database management, correspondence, and reporting.
• Collaborative Work: Engage with other areas of the Student Life Office’s work, contributing to its diverse initiatives.
• Communication Tools: Develop and design EDMs or alumni newsletters, enhancing communication with our alumni community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree: At least 2 years’ experience in alumni relations (either professionally or as a student leader). Degrees in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or related fields are advantageous.
• Excellent Command of English: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain strong connections with alumni and donors, understanding their motivations and interests.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day demand generation and performance campaigns for B2B clients.
• Conceptualise, plan, and operate demand generation and lead generation campaigns through test and learn approaches.
• Develop marketing automation programs, including building email nurture logic, lead qualification/scoring processes through the marketing funnel.
• Manage email marketing programs and website CMS builds.
• Implement campaigns across social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and advertising (display, SEM, social advertising, etc.) from setup, optimisation to reporting.

Responsibilities

• To assist in the overall management and technical operations of the Marine Fleet that includes the preparation, review and management of all technical documentation, vessel certificates, maintenance records, compliance records and etc.
• Providing the necessary administrative support and coordination for any vessel inspections, repairs and docking works.
• Assist in liaising with customers on technical and operational matters that inclusive of vessel performance etc.
• Attending to vessel docking, repairs and surveys when requires and carry out supervision on any contractors' repair / maintenance works on board the vessel.
• Monitoring the technical status of vessel in term of Class certificates and surveys and ensure that all statutory certificates, equipment certificates, etc, are properly maintained, documented and up to date.
• To identify and source for technical and operational supplies required for the vessel's need. Coordinate with the suppliers for timely delivery to the vessels.
• Monitoring and controlling of the vessels consumables to prevent unnecessary wastage.
• To keep track of the vessels LSA, FFA, cargo hoses registry, lifting gear registry and PPE of all shipboard personnel.
• Appointed as safety committee member to carry out ool-box meeting for the vessels and attend to vessel inspections.
• To work closely with the HSE team to ensure the smooth implementation and compliance of company's safety and quality standards.
• To assist in investigating any defects / failures occurred and reporting all vessel incidents, near misses to prevent and eliminate any potential incidents.
• To assist in maintaining crew records that inclusive of certifications, training, medical checks and coordinating in crew changes.
• To undertake any other technical related tasks and assignements as and when required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Corporate Comms, Social Media and Branding

· Undertake editorial and production tasks including editing, writing, and producing in alignment with ASME’s communications strategies. This includes the production of e-newsletters, annual reports, publications, speeches, media releases, etc.

· Produce and post digital content for ASME’s social media accounts.

· Ensure and maintain brand consistency for all company materials and collaterals.

Stakeholder Relations

· Support and/or organise stakeholder initiatives such as corporate visits, focus group meetings and dialogues, etc.

· Provide logistical and administrative support for events such as Council Meetings and AGM and Media Relations

· Media engagement for the publicity of the organisation’s activities.

· Draft news releases, craft media replies and coordinate media interviews.

Event Comms

· Execute communications plans for key events.
