Shipping / Documentation Officer

What the Role Involves:

1. Prepares full set of shipping documentation such as packing lists, invoices and certificate of origin.
2. To coordinate with warehouse teams for shipment preparation
3. Monitor import shipping matters.
4. Monitor shipments' departure & arrival.
5. Update of KPI on individual shipments and shipment process
6. Declare and apply custom permit related documents.
7. Communicate and maintain good rapport with the internal and external customers

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• 1 Year of working experience in the similar position or Logistics / Supply Chain industry
• Experience in TradeNet and custom permits will be an advantage
• Self-discipline, initiative, responsible and interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible / Adaptive to changes
• Well-organized on planning work tasks and meticulous to details
• Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
• No experience will be considered

Work Days/Hours:

Monday – Friday (8:30am to 6:00pm)

Duties of Shipping Operations Executive (Part-time): 6 months (December 2024 to May 2025)

Managing inbound and outbound documentation for vessels

Planning departure schedules to maximize cargo efficiency

Liaising with internal team members (transport and warehouse) to ensure shipment fulfilment is on track

Supporting the operations team in daily tasks and coordination efforts
