Cargo Handler / Delivery Assistant

Job Description & Requirements

The candidate is to follow the lorry or truck driver and assist the driver in the delivery and collection of cargo.
The candiate needs to be able to lift and carry cargo from lorry or truck to door deliveries.

Job reporting location at Jurong Logisitics Hub and upon ending of work, the driver will drive the candiate back to Jurong Logisitcs Hub.

Monday to Friday : 9 am to 6 pm

Sat: 9am to 1 pm.

Salary Range: $1,600 to $1,800

Transport Allowance: $100.

Assistance Operation Manager

Salary: 2500-3500 SGD/month

main responsibilities:

• Communication with customers / co-loader / overseas agent for export shipment arrangement
• Response to customer’s / co-loader / overseas agent’s email
• Planning console box to overseas
• Able handles declare all kinds of import / export permits
• Create job no / Key in shipment details / voucher & etc system
• Arrange / coordinate closely with all parties for delivery / pick up
• Ensure that all jobs are monitored / timely updated in system / Billing
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

General requirements:

• Qualification: Secondary School / O or N Level / Diploma
• 2-3 years of experience working in / freight forwarder or freight consolidation companies will be preferred.
• Proficiency in MS office
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn fast and pays attention to details.

1. To take up delivery jobs for all types of goods as per instruction from PIC

2. To abide and execute all instructions from PIC

3. To deliver cargoes to customer's location and/or warehouses

4. To perform all other duties assigned by PIC

5. Ensure safe driving

6. Ensure timely delivery

7. To remain contactable at all times

8. To provide excellent customer services

9. Maintain vehicle in good conditions

10. To be punctual

Shipping Co-Ordinator

Salary: 1800-2500 SGD/month

Job Type: Full Time Job

Period: Immediate Start

main responsibilities:

• Communication with customers for import / export shipment arrangement
• Response to customer’s / overseas agent’s email
• Create job no / Key in shipment details / voucher & etc system
• Arrange / coordinate closely with customer within house transporter for delivery / pick up
• Ensure that all jobs are monitored / timely updated in system / Billing
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

General requirements:

• Qualification: Secondary School / O or N Level / NITEC
• 1-2 years of experience working in /freight forwarder or logistics companies will be preferred.
• Proficiency in MS office
• Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn fast and pays attention to details.
