Job Summary
As the Manager – IT Solutions – Contract Logistics – APAC, you will be the driving force behind designing and implementing IT solutions that meet the unique needs of our customers. You’ll work closely with commercial teams on RFQ responses, document and analyze customer requirements, and ensure seamless, timely solution deployment. This is a strategic regional role that calls for deep expertise in Contract Logistics, a strong understanding of WMS and TMS systems, and commercial insight. Your collaborative approach will ensure customer-centric solutions and support business growth across APAC.
Key Accountabilities
- Represent IT in commercial discussions, managing bid qualifications, IT costing, solution design, and customer presentations.
- Act as the primary IT point of contact in all customer engagements, building lasting relationships and understanding specific needs.
- Coordinate with global and regional IT resources to develop innovative solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Present IT solutions clearly and compellingly to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct workshops to capture and validate customer requirements, ensuring that proposed solutions meet expectations.
- Develop detailed timelines and roadmaps for solution implementation, securing and coordinating necessary resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IT Heads and senior stakeholders across the region and group, ensuring smooth implementation and operational success.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years in IT solutions, with a focus on logistics solution design, business analysis, and implementation, ideally in a customer-facing role.
- Expertise with WMS, TMS systems, and EDI standards; hands-on experience in application development, integration, and implementation.
- Understanding of various contract logistics models and domains.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluent in English and an additional Asian language, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges within the logistics domain.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, or other relevant frameworks.
- Willingness to travel across the APAC region as needed.
