We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Warehouse Management Manager with over 20 years of expertise in warehouse operations and management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics into our Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes, as well as supporting the development of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role requires a forward-thinking leader who can drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and improve overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities:*
1. *Strategic Leadership:*
- Develop and implement warehouse management strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of AI and robotics into warehouse operations.
2. *Technology Integration:*
- Assess current WMS processes and identify areas for improvement through the adoption of AI and robotic solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and software development teams to define requirements and specifications for upgrading WMS and ERP systems.
3. *Operational Excellence:*
- Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Optimize inventory management processes to reduce costs and enhance service levels.
4. *Project Management:*
- Oversee the implementation of AI and robotics projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses on new technology investments.
5. *Training and Development:*
- Develop training programs for warehouse staff to ensure effective utilization of new technologies and processes.
- Mentor and lead a team of warehouse supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
6. *Collaboration and Communication:*
- Work closely with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations.
- Communicate effectively with senior management regarding project status, challenges, and opportunities.
Minimum of 20 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
- Proven experience in implementing AI and robotics in warehouse settings.
- Strong understanding of WMS and ERP systems, including development and integration.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong project management skills with experience in leading technology-driven initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills:*
- Knowledge of industry best practices in warehouse operations and supply chain management.
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with automation technologies, such as conveyor systems, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), and robotic picking systems.
