1) Administer HSSE Standards, Procedures and Practices

• Ensure compliance with all HSSE rules and regulations

2) Perform Business Administrative Tasks

• Follow up on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable matters
• Generate, analyse and maintain reports such as KPI and inventory reports for customers and customs authorities to ensure compliance
• Provide technical support on various technical issues

3) Perform Cargo and/or Material Handling and Delivery Tasks

• Coordinate closely with external (customers, surveyors, shipping agents) and internal stakeholders so that logistical activities are executed smoothly
• Perform Customs Clearance Permit for all import and export shipments, including preparation, document submissions, declaration, filing, and facilitation of customs audit
• Shipping document preparation, submission, declaration and filing
• Weekly/Monthly Customs reporting

4) Perform Customer Service Tasks

• Attend to queries and complaints with regards to the logistical activities and provide solutions within time limits, follow up to ensure resolution
• Generate/Post/Distribute weekly/monthly invoice(s)
• Maintain and foster good rapport with customers, transporters and internal departments
• Perform vessel vetting clearance for customers
• Plan logistical activities effectively and efficiently based on customers’ requirements and terminal facilities
• Provide weekly/monthly stock inventory report to customer(s)
• Schedule and coordinate customer meetings and terminal visit/audit

Job Profile:

• Possesses at least a Business or Logistics related Diploma
• Have at least 2 years of logistics/ planning / customer service experience in a Terminal Storage Logistics industry
• Have excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions
• Able to multi-task and work independently
• Possesses good negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Is detailed-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Please note:

• This position is based in Jurong Island
• The Logistics Executive is required to be on a 2-week planning rotation, with standby 24x7. You shall be compensated with a standby allowance for this.
• Official Working hours: Mon - Fri, 0830 - 1700 hours

Responsibilities:

· Monitor day-to-day operation activities (inbound and outbound and operation activities) to ensure Logistics / Distribution operations meet the customer’s expectation

· Handle transportation arrangement and co-ordinations.

· To communicate and coordinate with warehouse operation team according to customer requirements.

· Communication with customer to receive orders and enhance customer satisfaction.

· Support Team work on daily reporting such as inventory report, warehouse and distribution tracking report..

· To assist for quality control and continuous improvement.

· Monitor bonded (duty unpaid) cargoes, tally inventory with Singapore custom record, products inventory and make sure the accuracy between physical stocks and system quantity.

· Assist in any other duties as required

Requirements:

· Diploma or Degree in Logistic Management / Supply Chain / Business Management

· Minimum 2 years experience in warehouse operation and supervising warehouse staff

· Preferable experience in 3PL

· Proficient in computer skills ie. MS Office, Excel, SAP and WMS

· Possess good communication skills with both internal and external customers.

· Forklift license added advantage

• Receiving of incoming shipment, checking, repacking and put away (binning to shelves)
• Handle daily logistics and shipping activities including Picking, Packing & arrange shipments.
