Your Role

As the Business Development Manager, you will be at the heart of driving the company’s growth, focusing on winning new business and expanding market presence. This is a field sales position designed for someone who enjoys the thrill of finding new clients, closing deals, and building long-term partnerships from the ground up. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Exploring New Business Opportunities: Actively identify and pursue new opportunities for Contract Logistics solutions across various sectors, with a strong focus in B2C sector while we are also open to B2B accounts.
• Sales Lead Generation & Pipeline Building: Drive the sales process by generating leads and building a robust sales pipeline, from cold calling to closing deals.
• Tailored Solutions & Proposals: Collaborate closely with the Operations team to develop tailored business solutions, preparing compelling proposals and quotations for prospective clients.
• RFI, RFP, RFQ Management: Take ownership of all proposal responses, ensuring timely and effective submissions that demonstrate the company’s capabilities and competitive edge.
• Client Onboarding & Implementation: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth implementation for new clients, from initial project planning and warehouse setup to solution design and contract negotiation.
• Building Strong Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and driving continual business growth.

Job Description

• Position Title: Logistics Assistant (Class 3 & Forklift)
• Working Location: Kaki Bukit
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 5pm
• Salary Package: Up to $3,200 + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Check the quantity and quality of received products, recording the necessary information.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of warehouse stock, oversee picking and packing processes, ensure order fulfilment, and track vehicle movements.
• Efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vans or trucks.
• Keep the warehouse tidy, organize and label parts systematically.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of the warehouse and equipment.
• Deliver goods from the warehouse to various locations, including businesses and customers.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on delivery vehicles to ensure they remain in good operational condition.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to plan efficient delivery and pick-up routes. Manage timely deliveries of scheduled items/goods to customers.
• Confirm deliveries with customers and obtain proper acknowledgment.
• Follow safety and hygiene regulations, wear protective gear, and adhere to speed and weight limits.
• Report any security concerns related to parts storage, potential fire hazards, and personnel safety to superiors.
• Contribute ideas to improve procedures and increase operational efficiency.
