Roles & Responsibilities:
- Secure new clients and develop new revenue streams through business development (50%) and account management (50%).
- Meet volume and revenue targets by fostering strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Manage cross-trade operations and support international agents on shipment arrangements.
- Deliver optimal logistics solutions to clients, ensuring KPIs and initiatives are met for customer satisfaction.
- Prepare quotations, RFQs, and tenders, and manage rate reviews.
- Draft SOPs, operational T&Cs, and secure approvals before submission.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and co-loaders.
- Exceed sales targets and generate consistent revenue and gross profit.
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer visits, sales progress, and market developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Service and Operations) to execute customer quotations effectively.
- Provide weekly sales reports and pipeline updates to management.
- Report directly to the Managing Director and Sales Manager on market trends and performance.
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, or 3PL.
- Proven track record in business development or key account management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand client needs and propose tailored logistics solutions.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for sales presentations.
- Proficiency in Japanese (JPLT N1 or equivalent) is advantageous but not required.
Additional Information:
- Salary: Up to $5,500 basic + Variable Bonus + AWS
- Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5:30 PM.
- Location: 10 Jalan Kilang, #07-04/05, Bt Merah Enterprise Centre, Singapore 159410.
- Work Flexibility: Must be comfortable handling work matters from home on weekends if required.
