The Logistics Assistant (LA) reports to the CS/Executive and is responsible for the followings:

1.1 Comply to all safety, security, traffic regulations, PSA regulations and other government regulations

1.2 Perform daily warehouse operations activities for all accounts – Shipments, Inbound, Put Away, Relocation, Picking, Packing and Outbound in a timely and orderly manner

1.3 Ensure handle Vehicles are according to SOPs, customers’ requirements and safe work practices

1.4 Port clearance inspection checks with defects recorded and ensure all vehicles are checked; Bring relevant documents for Port clearance such as car list, Permits, etc. Report to PSA the number of head count working at PPAT and abide to their rules and regulation. Secure holding area for drivers to collect vehicles

1.5 Tally chassis number against vehicle list and check on vehicles for defects and submit defect report with photos to in-charge promptly

1.6 Tally container number and seal number provided before proceeding to Stuff/Unstuff container with required photos to be taken for reporting purposes

1.7 Ensure operational documents are filled up neatly, accurately and returned to the account holder timely and orderly

1.8 Perform daily tasks in timely and orderly manner to meet customers’ KPI (e.g. Vehicles send to request location, handover vehicle list to be signed, etc.) and ensure the correct forms are being use and the data are update accordingly

1.9 Rearranging vehicles to make space for new shipments/inbound

1.10 Transfer vehicles from inbound holding area or container to designated storage area and provide accurate location info promptly for in-charge to update timely

1.11 Perform periodic Cycle Count/Stock Take based on schedule given

1.12 Perform upkeeping and housekeeping of warehouse to meet 5S + 1 standards

1.13 Involve in Toolbox meeting, Gemba and report any findings found at any point of time

1.14 Coordinate and assist team members for completion of work related/Ad hoc jobs assigned

1.15 Assist in other warehousing activities; operating forklift (if possess a forklift license), power pallet jack, etc

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics Executive I is responsible for the smooth executions all AK Group and External Customers Orders under placed under his/her care. Key Responsibilities

1. Trucking and Stuffing Schedule Coordination:

• Coordinate with third-party service providers to plan and execute trucking and container stuffing schedules.

2. Daily Tanker Delivery Planning:

• Plan and arrange daily tanker deliveries efficiently. Stock Movement Management:
• Perform daily stock movement counts for Malaysia and Thailand sugar inventories.

3. Equipment Maintenance Reporting:

• Report all malfunctions and failures of forklifts, machinery, and instruments in the department to the Senior Supervisor and Engineering Department technicians promptly.

4. Goods and Material Handling:

• Oversee the receiving of finished goods and packaging materials from suppliers and ensure their issuance to production as required.

5. Records Management:

• Ensure all daily records, including receiving and issuing reports prepared by storekeepers, are accurate and up to date.

6. Warehouse Management System (WMS) Operations:

• Take overall responsibility for daily WMS operations and ensure smooth functioning.

7. Inventory Rotation Compliance:

• Ensure all goods are handled on a FIFO (First-In-First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired-First-Out) basis.

8. Logistics KPI Monitoring:

• Monitor and assist the logistics team in achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).

9. Stakeholder Liaison:

• Liaise effectively with customers, suppliers, and transport companies as required.

10. Ad-hoc Tasks:

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Manager.

1) Diploma or Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a related field. Good leadership ability

2) Demonstrates strong leadership abilities to guide and manage teams effectively. Able to analyze and resolve potential problems

3) A result-oriented individual with a proactive approach, responsibility, and initiative in handling tasks.

4) Capable of analyzing situations and resolving potential problems efficiently.

5) Must be PC literate with proficiency in relevant software and tools.

Job Summary
The Logistics Assistant is responsible in a wide variety of logistics activities including shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Receiving of incoming shipment, checking, repacking and put away (binning to shelves)
• Ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged in SAP.
• Handle daily logistics and shipping activities including: Filing and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements (Transporter, Forwarders, etc.), ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area.
• Process of orders thru SAP transaction including pick & pack for shipment, issue to Service department, workshop and sub-con/fabricator.
• Handle filing of documents, e.g. Assembly orders, Production orders, Picking list, shipping documents.
• Carry out cycle counts activities as specify in the cycle count policy.
• Sorting of Picking Lists, Production/Assembly orders, Service orders for picking.
• Packing of returned seals from Service to put back to customer stock.
• Developing, documenting, and maintaining departmental work instructions for all tasks. E.g. SAP work flow process and procedure.
• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet logistics demands as dictated by production schedules and workflow.  
• Enforcing safety regulations at all times. Understand Risk assessment, safe work procedure and Tool box meeting topics.
• Continuously improve logistics operations and processes through the use of Continuous Improvement initiatives/practices. Example: 5 S, eliminate 7 wastes and visual management.
• Collaboration with other departments to coordinate activities e.g. Supplier issue, rush order request and quality issue.   
• Communicate matter to the Logistics manager in order to keep him/her updated.
• Address issue and use problem solving tools to resolve the problem.

Responsibilities

· Propose buy quantity to management and drive the overseas and local buy of raw materials as per approval obtained

· Responsible for forecast buys for new products and replenishment

· Ensure stock inventory is accurate and up to date and generate stock inventory reports for management

· Responsible for supplier and cost evaluation (quality, cost, delivery, MOQ, etc)

· Responsible for supplier negotiation, cost analysis and conduct post debriefs

· Responsible to follow through the end to end operational procurement process from placing order, issuing and following up on Purchase Order delivery and shipment schedules

· Ensuring all purchase order are fulfilled and delivered Just in time

· Able to get an alternative or replacement products for out of stock items or product delayed in shipment

· Perform good receiving operation, all necessary documentation processing and ERP system input

· Ensure stock inventory is accurate and up to date and generate stock inventory reports for management

· Liaise with Finance for invoicing and payment matters

· Maintain strong working relationship with our suppliers the internal brand team and operations team

· Ensure logistics to the stores are in place and meet operational needs.

· Any other duties or ah-hoc tasks assigned

Requirement

· Diploma in Supply Chain/ Logistics Management or equivalent preferably

· Minimum 2 year experience in procurement, preferably in the F&B industry

· Confident, presentable, energetic and possess a pleasant personality
