Job Description:
As an Admin & Account Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions and accounting tasks of the company.
You will be responsible for managing financial records, processing invoicing, and providing support to the accounting team.
Additionally, you will help with general office administration tasks, ensuring smooth operations across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update financial records and databases in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, ledgers, and accounts
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing files, and maintaining office supplies
- Assist with audit preparation and coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Ensure proper documentation and filing for accounting and administrative activities
- Utilize accounting software (such as Xero) for data entry, invoicing, and reporting (experience with Xero is a plus)
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in an administrative and accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in using accounting software (experience with Xero is a significant advantage)
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Xero accounting software
- Familiarity with payroll processing and tax filing procedures
- Basic understanding of financial analysis and reporting
- Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements
