Description

Are you a passionate and detailed Quality Engineer with expertise in logistics applications? As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality assurance processes for SAP EWM, MM, SD, and other logistics systems. Your expertise will involve ensuring thorough test script coverage, facilitating collaboration between cross-functional teams, and analyzing logistics processes to identify improvement opportunities. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to align quality objectives and drive business value. Using SAP modules, you will monitor logistics operations, analyze quality metrics, and conduct risk assessments. You will also provide training and support to business users, mentor junior quality engineers, and create comprehensive documentation. With a proven track record in quality assurance and a deep understanding of logistics operations, you will be instrumental in enhancing our customer satisfaction and driving business growth.

Minimum Qualifications

• Extensive experience in quality engineering, within a logistics environment.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, tools, and methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• SAP functional experience in EWM or MM, and experience migrating from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4 HANA.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all incoming materials, reconcile with order requirements, e.g. Delivery Notes and other documents. Immediately inform Store Assistant of any abnormalities in the orders.
• Pack, prepare and check the finished goods and all the necessary dispatch documentations (authorised release note, etc.) for timely dispatch to ensure meeting the targeted delivery plan.
• Work closely with Planner on weekly launching of raw materials and tooling to production line to ensure smooth flow of operations and delivery schedules are met.
• Monitor and control to ensure accurate and efficient stock movement and inventory level.
• Perform Final view inspection, kitting processes and customer’s eyes inspection for delivery to customer.
• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure safety & compliance within the work function responsibilities
• Carry out duties as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• NITEC qualification or equivalent
• At least 2 years of working experience in manufacturing environment. Prior experience in Store/warehouse or inspection role would be an advantage.
• Valid forklift license will be an advantage.
• Able to communicate, read & write in English.

Assist on Logistics daily operation plan and arrangement eg: fetch worker, delivery, Diesel truck , lorry crane, Mechanic daily maintenance, Pick up driver delivery documents and materials, etc

Data entry.

Preparation of Daily/weekly/monthly report on machinery fault , site workers/operatorator discipline, machinery usage, diesel usage, all vehicle usage, etc.

Assist to supervise a team of logistics/production staff in performing day to day Logistics/production activities. Maintains records and schedules. Plan and coordinate the maintenance and repair of machinery

Assist n conduction cycle count and stock check in order to ensure 100% accuracy.

( all project site and warehouse). Maintains stock record for spare parts and materials.

6.

Assist in ensuring efficient use of warehouse/production space, manpower and equipment.

7.

Ensure good house-keeping and cleanliness within the warehouse/production.

8.

To support procurement team, and project site operation to fulfill project operations.

9.

To control, develop and maintain all internal/external documentation for procedures and works instructions.

10.

Meets warehouse/production operational standards and safety standard by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews, resolving problems, and identifying warehouse system improvements.
