Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to join our team at KeaBabies. This pivotal role entails overseeing and optimizing logistics and supply chain operations on a global scale, encompassing the USA, Canada, Europe, and China. The responsibilities include managing freight forwarding, demand and supply planning, inventory control, 3PL coordination, reporting, and providing strong leadership to the logistics team. The ideal candidate possesses a robust background in logistics, exceptional organisational skills, and a proven history of enhancing global supply chain efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
Inventory Planning and Demand Forecasting:
- Lead and strengthen the inventory planning and demand forecasting functions.
- Collaborate, plan, and execute supply strategies with cross-functional teams to accurately forecast product demand across marketplaces.
- Utilise market trends, historical data, and customer behaviour insights to optimise inventory levels.
- Implement and continuously improve inventory control measures to prevent losses, reduce carrying costs, and enhance accuracy.
- Develop and maintain robust inventory planning systems and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee global supply chain operations, including import and export logistics.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with international customs regulations and documentation.
Logistics Coordination and Performance:
- Maintain strong relationships and manage global transportation with freight forwarders and 3PL partners.
- Negotiate cost-effective shipping and storage rates.
- Evaluate and improve logistics performance through data analysis and continuous process improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in supply chain management are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years in logistics and supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, import/export regulations, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously
