What does the role involve?
Due to onboarding new customers and growth within South East Asia, they are looking for a Supply Chain Consultant to work within their growing and dynamic team. The role will focus on assisting in developing relationships with new customers and support sales with the onboarding of new customers. In addition to this, on a daily basis the role will see you:
· Leading new customer project implementations
· Configure the software, provide training and deliver ongoing support to existing and new customers to optimise processes.
· Build a strong relationship of trust with several contacts within the customer’s organisation through your competence, empathy and understanding.
· Act as an ongoing support person after onboarding of new customers to assist with future planning
· Support sales with tender discussions relating to technical features of the platform
· Guide and coach the change in their customers’ organisations, as they move to a new way of inventory management
What experience will you have?
They are looking for experienced candidates who have strong technical ability as well as a keen eye to identify continuous improvement opportunities for our customers. In addition to this, you will ideally have
· A background in supply chain and/or project management
· Experience in onboarding customers and supporting them in understanding technical features
· Guiding change management within organisations
· A strong understanding of the processes around forecasting, demand planning and inventory optimisation, as well as a feeling for IT.
· Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in supply chain or related studies or at least 8 years of relevant experience in supply chain management
· You are fluent in English (spoken & written) and preferably speak one other language at business proficiency to liaise with customers globally.
