1. Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various retail outlets.

2. Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries.

3. Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment and techniques.

4. Verify delivery instructions and product quantities before departure.

5. Follow traffic laws and safety regulations at all times while driving.

6. Communicate effectively with supervisor and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.

7. Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition.

8. Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.

9. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record.

2. Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.

3. Familiarity with local roads and routes.

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

7. Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.

8. 2 years experience.

9. Supermarket delivery experience is a plus.

Working Conditions

1. Work schedule: 6 days per week Monday-Saturday

2. Working hours: 7am-5pm (including 1 hour lunch time)

• Operate Class 3 or Class 4 vehicles to transport goods, furniture, or equipment to designated locations.

• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client satisfaction during pickups and deliveries.
• Handle delivery documents, such as invoices and job orders, and ensure proper documentation of completed jobs.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies during operations.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as checking oil, water, and tire pressure.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in driving heavy vehicles or moving services is an advantage.
• Physically fit and capable of handling heavy items safely.
• Familiarity with GPS systems and the ability to navigate efficiently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Scope:

Support the Branch in complying in Customs and any other
government agencies’ regulations

1. Declare all different types of shipping permits.
2. Applying Ordinary and Preferential Certification of Origin.
3. Coordinate with the respective departments on supporting documents required. Ensuring all documents are in accordance and timeline to provide approved customs entry declarations with help of pre-customs entry, checklist, Asia Customs SOP, and pre-alert database.
4. Attend to customs enquiries and secure the permit approval.
5. To monitor and ensure all Cargo Manifest Declarations reports are submitted timely to Singapore Customs for both Import and Export permits transactions.
6. Creating file and preparing billing invoice. To ensure data accurate and timely billing to customers.
7. Generating essential customers’ or others reports as required.
8. Updating Asia Customs SOP with customers’ requirements and expectations.
9. Adhering compliance to Expeditors policy and expectations.
10. Maintain Branch procedure on customs entry declarations.
11. Key Performance Indicators are met within customers’ requirements and fulfillment Singapore Customs / Competent Authorities rules and regulations.
12. Performing internal audit for customs filling.  

5 days’s work week with 1 off day and 1 rest day (Sunday) within a calendar week 

Roster     1   -    8:30 am – 6:00 pm (1 hour lunch break) for 4 days

                          8:30 am – 5:30 pm (1 hour lunch break) for 1 day

Roster    2   -    12:00 pm – 21:30 pm (1 hour dinner break) for 4 days

                         12:30 pm – 21:30 pm (1 hour dinner break) for 4 day

Roster     3   -    2:00 pm – 11:30 pm (1 hour dinner break) for 4 days

                          2:30 pm – 11:30 pm (1 hour dinner break) for 1 day

• Accountable for the successful management of assigned key accounts.
• Lead, oversee, and coordinate operations for export/import order fulfillment as the primary point of contact.
• Supervise, recruit, and train staff to achieve operational excellence.

• Establish and uphold guidelines and best practices to minimize shipment compliance risks.
• Ensure full adherence to Singapore Customs Regulations.
• Monitor departmental budget controls and ensure optimal use of resources, including facilities, system applications, personnel, and related data.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in procurement in Logistics Business
• Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related discipline
