• Responsible for end-to-end Post fixture for all the company voyage, time and period chartered vessels from the pre fixture stage till voyage completion
• Oversee all operational matters for the managed vessel, ensuring compliance with charter party agreements, loading and discharge operations, and voyage optimization to maximize efficiency and minimize cost
• Ensure the accuracy of voyage P&L accuracy, providing input for payment due to Owners and receivable from Charterers
• Handle claims in coordination with legal/P&I / lawyers
• Manage freight invoices, demurrage/despatch, laytime hire payment and port disbursement and reconciliation of voyage results.
• Coordinate with trade operations team with regards to laytime settlement, NOR clauses, payment of hire/freight etc.
• Handle freight operations matters in terms of bunkers’ procurement, enquiry of port costs/restrictions, booking of grabs, sending of voyage instructions.
• Review all the terms & conditions of the agreed contracts thoroughly, ensuring compliance with all requirements and fulfillment of obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor in Maritime, Logistics / related discipline.
• 3-5 years of dry bulk freight chartering, and operations required
• Proficiency in industry-specifics software and tools, such as chartering systems (e.g.,IMOS), voyage optimization software, and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:

• Support the customer requirements in collecting data, perform statistical analysis and coming up with better processes or updated processes.
• Work closely with the department leads in mapping the current process and developing the 'to be' processes.
• Create SOP, work instructions and get the required approvals. Train operations team after work instructions approval.
• Handle multiple projects of small and medium sizes.
• Support current business solutions team as required.
• Train and build technical and process capabilities within department while providing technical expert support to other sites.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma/Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering, IT Engineering, Process Engineering, Supply Chain or equivalent.
• Comprehensive understanding in Warehousing system.
• Experience with Data collection and statistical analysis.
• Knowledge in manufacturing systems e.g. CAD, SAP,ERP etc.
• Able to lead small Project teams and do SIT,UAT as per customer requirements.
• Proven project management skills.
• Good presentation skills and in MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
• Good to know the Industrial Engineering basics-VSM, process mapping, time studies.
