Job Summary:
The Lead Demand & Supply Planner plays a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing the demand and supply planning process, ensuring that the right products are available at the right time while maintaining cost efficiency. This role is integral to the S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to align demand forecasts with supply chain capabilities. The position requires a strategic approach to balancing supply and demand while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demand Planning: Lead the demand planning process by analyzing sales data, market trends, and customer insights to generate accurate demand forecasts.
• S&OP Process: Actively participate in the S&OP process, collaborating with sales, operations, and finance teams to align forecasted demand with supply capabilities, production schedules, and inventory levels.
• Supply Planning: Develop and manage supply plans to ensure timely and efficient product delivery. Optimize inventory levels, working closely with production and procurement teams to meet demand without overstocking.

• Proficiency in planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Excel) and demand forecasting tools.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent in supply chain/logistic preferred with at least 3 years of working experience in procurement, sourcing, logistics and supplier management.
• Previous experiences of working in a purchasing team; preferably within a medical or manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of purchasing, price negotiation, commercial understanding, and cost breakdown.
• Experience of working closely with suppliers/freight forwarders.
• Able to add value, reduce costs and input to business improvements.
