The scope of your role will be on all supply chain processes at all four Lumileds sites– San Jose, Penang, China, and Singapore. Your key areas of responsibilities are: 1. To execute projects in a timely manner following the Agile framework with focus on planning & scheduling related problems. 2. Support & further develop our customized planning & execution solutions ensuring that the applications can continue to support the business and planners use the applications to best of their capabilities.

What You Will Do:

· To execute projects in a timely manner following the Agile framework with focus on planning & scheduling related problems.

· Support & further develop our customized planning & execution solutions ensuring that the applications can continue to support the business and planners use the applications to best of their capabilities.

· Provide first & second level support to S&OP solver and act as back-up for other solvers managed out of Singapore. This includes supporting complicated Demand & Supply analysis as part of the monthly S&OP process.

· Analyse existing methodology and implement a robust process improvement which result in inventory reduction and or service level improvements.

· Drive consolidation towards harmonized supply chain process

· Provide training of new methodology and tools to peers throughout functions via workshops, project reporting and formalized training.

The Engineer, Supply Engineering shall be responsible for the consistent supporting and monitoring of proposal development, tracking of projects progress, and driving development of engineering advancements across group companies in A&O (Asia & Oceania).

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross functional team to support developments of proposal for various engineering projects within group companies.
• Review and provide inputs on technical aspects, feasibility and alignment with company objectives, best practices, and standards.
• Regularly liaise with assigned project leaders in group companies to gather updates, identify challenges and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Explore new collaborations with well-established vendors globally while concurrently assessing existing equipment manufacturers to ensure the necessary support for projects and proposals.
• Organize and facilitate engineering programs for the group companies, fostering continuous learning and professional development.
• Collaborate with safety and productivity teams to identify areas for continuous improvement in safety measures and operational efficiency.
• Regularly communicate and present to key stakeholders and Group Engineering in NSHD on proposal development, project progress, engineering programs, safety measures and other collaborative improvement initiatives

General Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Diploma in Engineering with more than 5 years’ relevant experience can be considered
• Proven experience of at least 3 years in project management and/or proposal development on Plant Process in Gas and Chemical Industry.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Possess good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Initiative, drive, and the ability to work independently.
• English speaking & writing skill
• Result-oriented and energetic with positive attitude.
• Willing and able to travel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software
