Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the design process from concept development and space planning to project presentation, ensuring creativity and high-quality outputs.
• Seek inspiration and reference materials from diverse sources to support innovative design solutions.
• Create concept designs using hand sketches and digital tools while mentoring junior team members on assigned projects.
• Develop and review detailed drawing packages for schematic and detailed design phases.
• Prepare engaging presentations using digital and traditional media, with proficiency in PowerPoint.
• Represent the team in client meetings, leading or contributing to presentations as needed.
• Conduct research and source materials to ensure suitability and quality for each project.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of market trends, client needs, and competitor strategies.
• Build and foster strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for future projects.
• Support business development activities, including pitches, proposals, and presentations.
• Conduct site visits independently, addressing issues and ensuring project progress.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate office interior design.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Skilled in negotiation and vendor management to secure the best value for materials and services.
• Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude.
• Hands-on, responsive, and proactive with a genuine passion for design.

• Position Title: Process & Manufacturing Technician/Engineer (2D CAD Designer/Drafter)
• Working Location: Serangoon North
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5.30pm
• Salary Package: Up to $3,800 + VB
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing processes and estimates for new project introductions (RFQs).
• Design and define die cutting tooling.
• Prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation such as CAD Drawings, BOM, ECN, Control Plans, and Working Instructions.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, including efficiency, speed, and cost.
• Provide support for production troubleshooting and manage production delays.
• Promote continuous improvement in operational KPIs (Scrap, Efficiency, Cost, Yield, Customer Complaints, Audits, etc.).
• Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations, and network performance.
• Implement cost-reduction strategies while maximizing quality.
• Train staff in both new and existing manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, suppliers, and team members to improve processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all manufacturing procedures.
• Study and upgrade systems and processes with new technologies.

• Minimum of a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, preferably with at least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Prior experience in continuous process improvement culture/approach
• Proficient in CAD 2D software.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 audits, Six Sigma, and lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with laser machines will be an added advantage.
