Responsibilities

- Take instructions from Directors & manage execution of project

- Meet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and requirements

- Communicate effectively with client & team in order to address client's needs- Prepare presentations with the team for client's review

- Prepare tender drawings & documents with the team for contractors to quote

- Assess contractors' quotations & manage construction contract

- Source & procure Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) with the team

Qualifications

- Relevant degree in Interior Design or Architecture

- Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup & Photoshop

- Minimum 3 years experience in commercial interior or architectural practice

- Familiar with local FF&E trades

- Strong creative and communication skills

- Passion for thoughtful design

Our creative team is growing and, as a result, we are looking for a Senior Designer to join our Singapore office.

Work autonomously on multiple projects (which may include three or more simultaneous projects) to create new concepts and execute extensive roll out design projects, ensuring that they meet the client brief and are delivered on time and on budget with minimal supervision.

Daily duties/responsibilities

This position is responsible for:

· Leading the concept creation for projects, providing: idea generation; support images; design sketches; compiling design presentations; and 3D renderings to communicate design solutions.

· Receiving and responding to briefs from the Client Management team. This includes ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget and on brief, and should include questioning and/or challenging briefs where appropriate.

· Contributing to the development of shopper experience and engagement ideas.

· Selecting appropriate materials and designs with an understanding of construction techniques.

· Producing Technical Drawings (if within skillset) ensuring they follow brand guidelines and vendor packs.

· Following internal design standards; ensuring that design policies, procedures, standards and philosophies are adhered to.

· Playing a key role in internal and client meetings, workshops and presentations.

· Keeping abreast of developments in design techniques and trends.

· Helping maintain current and accurate project files for all materials, assets and drawings.

· Contributing to company culture and participate in team building activities.

Participating in business pitches to help the Company win new clients or projects, including presenting concepts to clients and prospects.

Qualification criteria

This position requires:

· 5+ years of relevant work experience in the interiors, architecture or retail design field.

· Strong knowledge and application of creative 3D software. The use of 3DS Max is viewed favourably.

· Extensive experience working with contractors and manufacturers, including site experience.

· Experience in a small-to-medium sized agency is an advantage.

· Strong knowledge and application of creative software.

· Sketching capabilities will be viewed favourably.

· In-depth experience working with global consumer brands. Experience working with luxury brands is a plus.

· Strong communication and presentation skills. The ability to comfortably interact with high-profile clients of varying levels.
