Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Acquire qualified New-To-Bank customers through contacts, referrals from clients and business development activities locally specifically in the area of insurance and financial planning for legacy or retirement.
- Procure new business through customer acquisition and manage relationships with existing customers alongside the relationship managers.
- Engage other departments to get referral opportunities, planning of insurance new sales ideas, training of RMs in financial planning knowledge.
Business Performance and Management
- Attuned to the current economic and financial markets by attending trainings so as to be current and proficient in addressing customer’s queries.
- Achieve individual sales targets for wealth management, treasury products and insurance.
- Provide sound financial planning and insurance advice and dispensing customised solutions in alignment with the bank's standards and industry regulations.
- Deliver client satisfaction through tailored solutions according to client objectives and service issue resolution.
- Achieve service standards set by the bank.
- Work towards Preferred Banking’s intended goals.
People Management
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivation, outstanding ability to sell, strong writing and presentation skills, excellent negotiation, closing and follow-up skills.
- Committed in the improvement of self towards becoming a good ambassador of CIMB Preferred.
Regulatory Compliance
- Comply with all internal policies, procedures, processes as well as regulatory requirements.
- Attend all trainings.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline
Professional Qualification and/or Regualtory, Licensing Requirements
- Possess the relevant certifications, e.g., CLI, CGI, HI, M1B, M5, M6, M6A, M8, M8A, M9, and M9A
Relevant Work Experience
- At least 3 years relevant sales experience in retail banking.
Technical/Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of financial compliance and regulatory requirements in Singapore
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
